Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Doing MBBS and becoming a doctor is still one the noblest profession in our society. Mbbs is good but hectic. Like inspite of coming to college you have to study very hard . Even after 8 am to 4 pm classes practical etc you have to study after going from college. It is very hectic and you can't escape from studying because we have to save life of people. And saving lives is not an easy job. Every chapter every subject is important. It's nice and interesting to study but sometimes one can feel low because of the hectic schedule a med student has . Overall you have to study and you will also get time to enjoy when there is no exam or semester. It's fun . it's interesting. It's everything. Consistency in study matters .

Internships Opportunities

4

Pmch is completely a government college. After completing Mbbs we get 1 year mandatory internship opportunities. Stipend during internship is approx 20,000rs per month. A mbbs degree holder can get job of JR anywhere. Why a MBBS student of state's best college not get a job. And medical field do require many doctors. The patient load is so high that government has to provide doctors to them .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The lecture hall is good with AC , 200 students sitting capacity. From 2025 it would be having 250 students per year in the mbbs course. Sooner PMCH is going to be Asia's second largest hospital. New OPD building for different departments, emergency, etc is quite good. Since the patient load is quite high you will get better medical exposure. Professors and academics is also good. Practicals labs are quite worth it. Old buildings infrastructure is not that good but renovation and construction work is going on . Surely after few years pmch will be having one of the best infrastructure. It has a great learning environment.

Campus Life

3.5

My overall experience has been good till now. The infrastructure right now is not that good but construction work is going on. New buildings have been made &more are under construction. The new buildings new OPDs new emergency is very very good. Our new hostels are also well-infrastructured. Pmch is going to be Asia's second largest hospital. The number of beds will also increase to approx 5400 beds which is quite good.

Admission

I applied for PMCH because it is Bihar's no. 1 medical College. It's going to celebrate it's 100 years of establishment in Feb 2025. Who would not wish to come to college which is going to become Asia's second largest hospital in few years. Patient load is quite high very high. Medical students need exposures to patients. More the patients they see more the experience they gather better the doctor they become . PMCH! the pmch ! Prince of Wales college was established in 1925 only and from then it's serving its people and taking care of and ofcourse we the genius minds of nation has to carry forward this legacy.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties, professors over here are quite knowledgeable. They are genius. Like you will get every study knowledge by them . You can even ask your doubts personally in their chamber. Or you can even talk to them personally and get your doubts clear. We also have whatsapp group specifically for doubt clearance. SGDs had been very useful for us . It helped us a lot in learning things. Practicals and labs are good . We even get revision classes for it. Frequent internal exams , 3 semesters and 1 university exams. For passing the exams you have to study hard . Even for SGDs and seminars you have to study, you can't escape or else you will fail. All faculties are good , you can get their whenever you want. They are always ready to help us. Subjects in the first year includes physiology, biochemistry and anatomy. Out of these physiology had been tough for us to pass but we did it and so you can.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See Being a student from rural area, choosing this course was just an easy task for me on the basis of selection between two subjects that is Mathematics and Biology. So first step towards this course was taken after my 10th by choosing Biology instead of Mathematics. After that among different courses that i can pursue as a Biology student, MBBS needs lot of hard work and it pay the respect in return. So this was the reason. To be honest, MBBS student should be given more clinical exposure by reducing their hectic theory classes timing. The syllabus should be reduced and exposure in clinics should be enhanced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
