GWECA reality

The course curriculum is relevant but is not taken much seriously. It is taught in theory manner. Like not much practical implementation is taught. Taught enough to clear the examination. It feels like we are still in school. The examination like mid terms are not taken seriously by the students. I would suggest the to reach us like engineers not like some arts students.

Target and Flipkart have come in our college for internship... Till now.. target came for software Engineer role and Flipkart came for.. some supply chain role... And 2 students got selected for this..

The placement of my college is descent. Companies do visit.. but the average placement package is very less. So,we can opt for off- campus placements too. But still my college's TPO cell is very active and tries to invite good companies in our campus. Rest depends on students effort.

The year wise fees I paid was around 65,000. The tution fee is 29500 per sem. Per sem fee was distributed 30k and 33k (even and odd) but now the fees has increased by 10 thousand per year due to NBA integration and also degree fee.. and institutional fee. Hostel fees is 45k per year

Epistemico is out annual college fest which is organised by the CAS committee. There are clubs... But not as cool as other colleges. Not much fun. Classrooms do have smart boards. But... Air conditioning is not good. It's extremely hot during summers. Basketball is the prime sport in my college.. we also have TAKSH sport fest... In our college which is very popular. There are multiple pages of different different clubs on Instagram as well.

I chose this college as it was a government college but now it's autonomous and the fees was also less as compared to the other colleges. I applied to many colleges , colleges in Mumbai Pune, CTAE udaipur... But the fee was less here. I have many competitive exams for other colleges... But did not clear them.. like bitsat... Comed-k etc. I got into my college through REAP counselling. The criterion was based on 12th and JEE score. We can get admission through direct admissions also. There is no cuttoff as such. Overall experience was... Pretty smooth

The college faculty is amazing but is not motivated enough to take classes. The examination schedule was messed up but now things are back on track. On every 20 students their is one mentor. Whom they can reach out to. I really appreciate Yashvin sir, S S Agarwal sir , nikhil sir, bhawana ma'am,Rakhi ma'am, Meghna ma'am, Pooniya sir. They taught me really well. Exams are easy these days. But the curriculum needs a lot of updation.
