Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course are structured as to gain practical knowledge but the faculty don't teach much on practicals and just teach upon the theoretical part of the course. The good thing is student can able to select their desired course and faculties for each semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provided the internship in college itself where I worked as a Mobile App Developer with various other developers and get a real time product development knowledge. But this opportunity have been given to selected students. Overall, I learnt a lot during my internship period in our college. And of course it is non-stipend internship. They will give some requirements about the project and student should build the app or web according to that requirements and get approved from UI design to complete Product Development in order to receive Internship Certificate. Once the student is selected for this internship, student have to complete that product even if the student is buying from the outside the campus.

Placement Experience

2

The placement support is very low in our college. They only support the topper students in placement department and other average students are like dumb for them. They get extra fee for placement support sessions. At the end, without offer letter, they won't provide even a single certificate.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined in 2020, the highest annual fee was around ?1.5 lakhs, with deductions of up to ?1 lakh per year based on 12th-grade marks. However, in 2024, the highest fee has risen to ?4.25 lakhs, and even with the smallest deduction, it still amounts to about ?2.5 lakhs per year. Additionally, the college charges fees for even minor events, and if students fail to pay these fees before the semester exams, they are unable to generate their exam hall tickets. I estimate that, beyond the tuition fees, the college collects an extra ?1 lakh from other fees over the course of four years. There's no option for students to choose whether they want to attend an event or not; they are required to pay the event fee regardless. This is one of the worst ways for a college to profit from its students.

Campus Life

2

Overall, campus is good with grand fest and cultural events but the management inside the campus is worst compared to even third class colleges, the official information won't reach to students in the correct time. There is no proper announcement for each exam or holiday. There are a lot of rules to follow inside the campus. They don't give respect to the student's parent if they came there for any queries. The management always find a way to loot from each of the students apart from tuition fee.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is decent with AC facility and the food is not so good. To get good food, student should buy in good mess where they charge extra money compared to other mess restaurants. Student can feel safe inside the hostel. The bathroom and restroom are worse. The college charges extra fee the hostel accommodation that should be returned after completing the college but they won't.

Admission

Most of the students in our college from Andhra Pradesh regardless it is located in Tamil Nadu, why it so? Because of the referral system in our college, college privately announced senior students to refer this college to get amount of 30k to 50k per referral and our college students make it as a business to refer their relatives and cousins to make them join this college in order to earn some money to buy new phones and bikes.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculties are PhDs or doing PhD in the college itself. During Semester exam, many students can't able to generate hall ticket due to the server delay issues and got to write like around half to one hour delay. There will be 1 semester in a 3 month and if a student get to perform well in Class test and practical sessions then he can get good grades in that particular course subject.

Placement Experience:

Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs.
