Course Curriculum Overview
The education system in this college feels more like a school-level approach rather than a proper higher education environment. Most of the teaching is done directly from textbooks or PowerPoint slides Labs and practical sessions are very poorly handled. Many times, experiments are shown only once or just explained verbally without hands-on practice, leaving students to figure out the concepts on their own.
Placement Experience
Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs. Salary Packages –Highest Package: Around 4.5 – 5 LPA, offered by a software company. Average Package: Around 2.5 – 3 L

Campus Life
Campus life in this college is not very enjoyable. Most of the time, the focus is only on classes, attendance, and exams, with very little effort put into creating a lively or engaging atmosphere for students. Festivals and Events The college does conduct technical and cultural fests, but they are very small in scale and poorly organized. Sometimes events are cancelled or conducted just for formality, so students don’t really get the full festival experience that other colleges enjoy. Because of this, the excitement level among students is very low.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are quite basic and poorly maintained, which makes the stay uncomfortable for students. Rooms are small and congested, usually shared by 3–4 students. Furniture is very old – most rooms only have a cot, table, and a small cupboard, but not in good condition. Cleanliness is not properly maintained. Washrooms are often unhygienic and water supply is inconsistent. There are no proper study arrangements inside the room, which makes it difficult to concentrate.
Admission
Compared to some top private colleges, the infrastructure here is not very modern. Labs and classrooms are average, whereas other colleges I applied to had more advanced facilities. This college offers decent placement opportunities, especially for IT companies, but Tier-1 colleges have a stronger track record with core companies and higher salary packages. This was one of the biggest deciding factors. Other colleges charged higher tuition and development fees, while this college was comparatively economical, especially for students under the government counselling quota.
Faculty
Most of the staff members are friendly and approachable. They do not hesitate to clarify doubts, and a few of them are easy to talk to even outside class hours. Some faculties genuinely care about students’ growth, guiding them in projects, giving career suggestions, and motivating them during tough times.
Night Life
For girl students, the campus life is very restrictive. The hostel rules are extremely strict, which limits freedom and nightlife experiences. Hostel In-Time: Girls are required to be inside by 6:30–7:00 PM. In some cases, even 6:00 PM is enforced.
