Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is highly relevant and comprehensive. Specific aspects, such as its blend of theoretical and practical legal education, interdisciplinary approach, and focus on emerging areas like cyber law and intellectual property, were key influences in choosing this course. The curriculum is well-aligned with real-world applications, preparing students for legal practice through moot courts, internships, and hands-on legal drafting. However, the course could improve by incorporating more technology-driven law courses and experiential learning through fieldwork. Exams are held frequently, following a continuous evaluation model, with moderate difficulty levels that emphasize critical thinking and analysis.

Internships Opportunities

5

It provides a range of internships from law frims and top advocates to inhouse legal counsel. There are companies like svf who now and then approach our college for internships and provide us with exposure. These are mostly paid ones with 1st ones to be mandatory in an Ngos.

Placement Experience

4.5

The palcements here is pretty nice due to the companies such as delloiet, bajaj many tier 1 firms like Tatva Legal, Azb and other includes svf entertainments Naik and Naik. It has almost 95% of placement record. With highest package goin upto 15lpa and more. I am planning for abroad for my further studies and jobs post my degree completion.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure for me it was around 3 lacs + 2lacs for hostel and mess. You can get scholarship on tution fees upto 50,000 upon your academic merit. The fee also increases 10% per semester and each year it keeps increasing now the fees for 1st year is 8 lacs including tution and mess and hostel.

Campus Life

5

As i mentioned the campus provides a lot of exposures having 3 institutes in one campus a lot of activity go now and then with over 50 cells and centres and clubs. Activities including academic , non academic and other take place where people actively participate.

Hostel Facilities

5

The accomodation is spacious with healthy food and environment with lush green atmosphere and pretty affordable with the amenities provided. However, there are no facilities for Ac, coolers or washing machiene but it has inhouse laundary with shops including stationary salon and ect.

Admission

I applied to various colleges like nlus, nirma, kiit and i chose slsh beacuse of its vibarant criculam and exposure along with long built reputation. Since i need exposure outside of my native place. I decided it to be a better option. Admission process: Eligibility min 60% in 10+2 to sit for SLAT exam just like clat and then give Personal Interviews.

The course I choosed because it will get knowledge about two different types of education commerce and law.I prepared curriculum for 1 month before the exam. The improvement in course is more that I suggested and teaching method is very old and poor way of teaching. The exam timing is 3 hours and not difficulty to pass the exam.
