Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is very well made. It contains a lot of details. After seeing the course outline we see the professors to select out electives. It is made to analyse the real world. Most often professors go beyond the curruculum making the course much more interesting.

Placement Experience

2.5

For Political Science department there are less placements. But for other departments the placements are great. Last time the highest package was taken by English department for content writing. Imtech is also having a good record in placents

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

1.) During odd semesters fees will be more 2.) Odd semester fees is 5000 3.) Even semester fees is 2500 4.) Fees we pay include health insurance, Students Union fund,Welfare fund 5.)Scholarships are available 6.) If you have epass you can get Scholarship 7.)Apart from epass there are other scholarships available 8.)As this is an University of eminence you can get 5000 if you top the semester

Campus Life

3

1.) There are many clubs 2.)Example : Nischaya civil service society, etc.. 3.) The do an active participation. You cannot expect more active participation from clubs here as like as in DU. 4.) But still the clubs are great place to learn new skills

Hostel Facilities

3

After the counselling process is done Hostel is alloted. At first hostel is not alloted to Hyderabad students but later it will be alloted. The facilities at the hostel are not too good. But they are okay. Each room has 2 members which makes it great.

Admission

1.) I applied to DU and HCU I got admission in both the college's. As this college is nearby my home and has a good NIRF ranking I choosed this college over DU 2.) I didn't get rejection from DU. 3.) For entering into IMA political science you need to write CUET and have a good score in general test which is considered and qualifying score in English. 4.) Merit list and counselling(offline) will be held at the college for admission process

Faculty

4

The faculty at Political Science department is so great. They teach very well. There are almost 20 professors and the number of students are also less. Professors are friendly, they share their opinion . There will be 3 internal exams out of which best of two will be considered. The final exam will be for 60 marks.Don't expect marks from Political Science prodessors

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Courses are very interesting and very helpful for our future endeavours. The Courses like gender studies, environmental science, fundamentals of music, dance studies, English literature and many other course give wider perspective of the electives and help to develop a multidisciplinary thinking capacity for students and develop a good idea of knowledge on all spheres. The social science students can also take elective from other science departments like maths, physics, geology, biology and etc... The NEP is implemented fully in the campus and it helps the students in overall development. The timing of classes for undergraduate students starts at 8am and ends at 6pm . But it differs to the course selection and a student maximum have 5 hours of class a day.
