- Infrastructure is old, so due to lack of maintenance, its losing its hestoricness and originality.
- Girls to boys ration in upper branches like CS, IT, ET is 1:8 almost but in branches like chemical, paint it is of 1:1 yeah its true. I kept this in dislike because i'm in ET.
Course Curriculum Overview
My branch is Electronics Engineering and currently i'm in my 2nd year, still i have no idea of core Electronics instead i have complete knowledge about web d and dsa. Being a core branch student i'm telling you that its really difficult to upskill in you core branch, as you didn't have any knowledge about what to learn as a skill and what are the requirements of the industry, you also didn't get the proper resources for that.
Internships Opportunities
Our college have decent intership opportunities one of the factor is because of IIT Kanpur, you gets easily research internship in IIT K from our college. You get referrals from your seniors and professors for your internships.

Admission
The very first and genuine thing is my JEE MAINS rank, which got me here, otherwise i can be in any top NIT or IIT. Anyways, the alumni network of this university is also one of the factor for choosing this, you can get off-campus placement quite easily in this college. Every year 3-4 students among top 10 rank of GATE exam is from HBTU. I have mentioned that you get plenty of time here so you can learn new skills very easily.
Faculty
Faculty is qualified and almost everyone is Phd holder from IITs. Somehow few of them still following the same orthodox pattern for teaching, they are avoiding new technologies for teaching. We have 2 semester in a year, in each sem there will be 2 mid sem of 15 marks each, we have one endsem of 50 marks and the 20 marks are of internal.
