Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason I took BCOM in NHCK is because they had the best faculties and they are one of the top colleges in Bengaluru. Our college provides seminars for all the students for our betterment of future. The areas that needs improvement is none because everything is handled greatly.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements offered here is pretty good I saw many of my seniors getting placements in different companies with an average package of 6-7 lakhs per annum. The placement training starts from 3rd year and I have no idea about what happens. My plans after getting a degree is to pursue MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my course of bachelor in commerce is 94000. I paid 94000 in my first year currently I'm in my 2nd year and I have to pay 100000 where they have increased 6000 telling that it is industrial training fees The 94000 includes tuition fees, admission fees and industrial visits, seminars, participation in culturals, sports, lab fees and everything which is required. Bcom has another professional level which costs 110000 which includes CA foundation classes for a year and data analytics classes for a year which includes certifications too

Campus Life

4.5

There are several events that are held in my college like Mudra which is an event held every year for the involvement of students and show casing there talents. Then we have nisarg which is an intercollegiate competition where several college come here and participate in more than 10 competitions. Then we have the biggest fest sargam which is held every year in the month of October or November this is where we have won many trophies for showcasing our college students talents in dance and many activities and there are many clubs like udaan, satrang, and many more

Admission

I applied to kristu jayanthi college i did get an interview from there but they tried to switch me to other courses which I didn't want to take they gave me a choice and didn't let me choose what I wanted that is the reason I chose New horizon college. I didn't get rejected over there, it's just I chose not to go because it was also far from the place where I stayed. The admission process is simple just full the application form and the cut of is for the one who scored more than 85% have a cut off upto 15000. The admission experience was good because the people spoke to us very kindly

Faculty

4.5

The student to faculty indulgence is very nice because all the teachers always try to keep us on tracks and try not get us any bad names from our parents nor other facilities. All the department teachers are nice and none of them have any grudge towards us to hate them. There are four internals being held and two semester exam in a year and all the questions for exams will be well taught from previous year question papers and the syllabus will be taught on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
