Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.com because of my interest in accounts. Faculty is the best and they know how to handle a classroom. Every faculty is trained, qualified and the best. Faculty really train us well enough to not feel the exams are too difficult.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When it comes to fees where I find the cons because they did not reduce the fees even during the pandemic period. I also find the fees are more and need to be reduced a little. Scholarships are given to students who score 100 in subjects. Only a few good companies had come for campus selection.

Campus Life

The biggest college fest of Bangalore "Sargam" takes place in our New Horizon College during September or October. Our library is very well organised and all books are available for students. They really support students in sports and extracurricular activities. There are cultural, Leo, sports, kannada clubs in the college which are handled by students under teachers' guidance.

Admission

The admission process will be simple and no interview will be taken. only counselling will be given about college and the courses which they provide. In New Horizon College every caste can get their seat and not much preference is given to reservation.

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements from various top notch companies like Deloitte, EY, Tanishq, Titan , Wipro and more. The Average package is 5 lakhs and most students get placed. Whoever doesn't, they choose to study further .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

New horizon college kasturinagar

I applied to kristu jayanthi college i did get an interview from there but they tried to switch me to other courses which I didn't want to take they gave me a choice and didn't let me choose what I wanted that is the reason I chose New horizon college. I didn't get rejected over there, it's just I chose not to go because it was also far from the place where I stayed. Dont judge a book by its cover

There was no criteria for getting in new horizon and i did not weitr any entrance exams. U can get information about the college on their website and apply for the college by going there in person.
