Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was influenced by many great legal shows and legal news, i have always wanted to be good lawyer who can work for people. It will be very helpful for me during my LL.M course and judiciary exam and can prepare me very well to achieve great success in future. The teachers need to be well selected on the basic of their actual knowledge and not just degree because the fee, we students pay, we deserve better faculty members. The exam for 1st and 2nd part usually last for 2 weeks and for senior batches it can take even a month. The difficulty level of exam is moderate, one can do well if he/she studies properly.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for students enrolled in 2022 is 41000, including 1000 for college maintenance. Where tution fee is 27000 rupees, admission fee is 1000, development fee is 6000, medical, electricity, cycle stand, library few, and other facilities charges are between 100 to 740. The charges for all of the students irrespective of their categories is same. In recent years the fees been increased too much. Before COVID it was barely 13000, then they increased it to 40000 and now it is 45000. Their is no scholarship aid for any students irrespective of their economic conditions or their academic merit. They also charge 400 for poor boys fund though but I am not sure if anyone get's financial aid though.

Campus Life

2

There is one annual function where students who have already completed their curse are invited and greeted, there's also annual sports day where many students participate and gets rewards. There's 5-6 journals are always available in Library and also most of the books can be found in library too. There's no smart board or technical facilities in classroom for now. There's not much focus on games, except during annual sports day. Well there's no social groups, clubs or students portal run by my college students or atleast not that I know off.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There's basic furniture and cupboard and fans provided, students can do use few electric appliances which is important in their daily life. The menu is basic and good quality isn't that good either. Both of them are okay okay. We have to submit an application addressing the principal and then hostel incharge give us chalan and the fee is submitted directly in bank There's no any good pg in college area so I loved in Mithanpura area for more than two years though the distance between college and my pg is quite far but I didn't have any option. But now I shifted in college hostel

Admission

I applied for allahabad university and got their affiliated colleges and so I didn't take admission there. I applied for bhu but due to few marks and less seats for law students, i couldn't make it. Well it was my fault I should have studied harder. A student need to get more than 45% to get admission in my college, there was no entrance exam earlier. The admission was based on 12th marks and class seat but from this year, a entrance exam will be held and the eligibility for appearing in exam is to have more than 45% in 12th.

Faculty

1.5

One class have two sections, in my class there is almost 240 students so it's 120 students per one teacher. Most of the faculties in starting year aren't really that good in teaching but most of them are friendly and can be approached easily. Polity teachers are quite better than other facilities, and one of them is Sunil sir. Well economics faculty isn't really good, he really doesn't know how to teach and on top of that have huge ego, most of the time instead of teaching he targets students for no good reason. In 1st and 2nd year their is only one main exam excluding few monthly test and it is not really that hard, if one studies their subjects properly, he can get good marks. No non of the students fail to clear exam. Well I believe even in 1st and 2nd year, there should be some law related subjects to strengthen student's basic because all we study is arts subject which is banifical in long run but it doesn't strengthen student's basic law knowledge.

Placement Experience:

The Placements are pretty good in both the private and Government sectors. For the private sector college, conduct placement interviews for interested students of the 4th year, in which many 2nd-tier law firms participate. Also, for the government services like the judiciary, colleges provide extra classes and mock interviews. The Bihar government recruits almost every year aoorox 300 students from CNLU in their law departmnets

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decent. The subjects are similar to what is taught at any NLU in the country. The curriculum is designed every year, which provides for a lot of scope for improvement and feedback. The faculty does take feedback from the students on year-end, which is anonymous, and hence the students get the freedom to express themselves. The classes are very interactive as most of the teachers prefer it that way.

Here the campus placement is good because companies like JSA, ICICI bank and many other Tier 2 companies come for placement in 4th yeat and 5th year also. Highest package of my college is usually given by ICICI bank of 18 lakhs to two selected students. But as Cnlu is in Bihar so many students tends to go for higher studies or litigation or goes for judiciary exam.So nearly 40% students tends to get placed because they have a keen intrest in going to corporate firms and other students go to other exams. My plan after getting out of college is to prepare for judiciary exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and easy to pass. I chose this course as there are no other colleges in the state that offer a dual degree that is BA.LLB. and i wanted to pursue this. As stated earlier there is a lot of changes in teachers and faculties and this leads to the incompletion of the syllabus. The exams are often delayed by 1 year and it happens every time but the exams are fairly conducted with no cheating and its a moderate difficult exam so that every student can pass the exams.
