Review of Renaissance university (forensic science).

Our course has subjects like fingerprints and questioned documents which have opened many doors as to what is the most interested to me and showed me alot of options for the future. We have weekly labs which leads us to actually see what happens and how to do things in the real world. If we increase the amount of instruments in the class it would make the curriculum better and make us understand things better. We have 2 mis sem tests and one end sem test per semester which is pretty good.

Internship opportunities are available at our college and the faculty also keeps recommending different internship opportunities to the students. Recently aour seniors went for internship at arvindo hospital and they got to see an autopsy.

The placements are majorly for the management and business students there are less placements for students of other fields. In our course people pursue masters then get placement. Companies like Biba, axis Bank etc have visited the college I don't exactly know the number of offers made. My plans after getting degree is to crack government exams and get a government job.

Year wise fees I pay is 60000. Scholarship is provided to OBC and sc st categories, the scholarship amount varies. The fees for the complete course if 180000 for three year program of bsc forensic science. There is admission quota for students from chhindwara district, they don't have to pay college fees although I don't know for how long. The fees is fixed and does not increase every year

All the festivals are celebrated very nicely at our college. Festivals like makar sankranti, Ganesh chaturthi, navratri etc are celebrated. Events like ambassador, indradhanush and sportszilla really bring out talents of people and also make people socialise. Our library has a wide range of books from course related books to fictional books and all of them are accessible to the students.

The hostel facility is one thing that is below average. The rooms are not good, the food is not good and the people who live in the hostels are not good. The hostel is also far away from where the college bus stops for us. And have to walk 800 metres from hostel to college bus stop.

I did not apply to any others colleges. I chose this college because I had heard good reviews. The admission procedure is very simple just have to pay the fees and necessary documents are required. There is an entrance exam called AIFSET that is required to get admission in Renaissance university forensic science department.

We have 4 faculties teaching different subjects in different semesters, all of them know what they're doing, they are knowledgeable and experienced. 22 students and 4 faculties make the ratio of almost 7 students per teachers which is pretty good if you ask me. I like all my faculties except everyone has their own personality and some of them a less likeable. We have 5 subjects each semester and they change every semester, the subjects we study every semester are relevant to the field and provide necessary insights. Not alot of students fail the class.
