the course curriculum and exam structure is relevant, research-driven and fair.in the end of every month, monthly tests have been organized .after completion of a unit class tests are held..every Saturday we have our practical classes to make our learning more easy n understandable and making the students ready for annual practicals. models exam are also held before the annual examination to make the students ready for the annual examinations.

The fee structure of the Doon Institute of medical sciences is affordable as compared to other colleges in Dehradun but the quality of teaching is very good. The fee of BSC Nursing is 4 lakh five thousand, the college is also providing a scholarship in highly specialized hospitals to the student.

the campus is very good, hygienic and pollutant free.labs are provided according to the course and subject need of the student. both indoor and outdoor games facilities are being provided to the students. debate competitions and many more including poster and calligraphy being held keeping in mind the current issues. working models are also made by the students under the supervision of the teachers.college have an equal ratio of girls and boys successfully participating in all activities.

the hostel fee is affordable and the hostel facilities are much better than any other. hostels provide a comfortable environment for the living and also for studies.warden and the hostel in-charge are always there for us to help in every situation. the food provided is very good and prepared in a hygienic way. there is a self-service system. regular Sunday outings are provided including 2 monthly night pass. games room is there including sports items of both indoor games and outdoor games for the students.

Yeah, all the seniors are very helpful for the academic as well as the curriculum activities they guide us in a very positive and good manner. There is no case found in my college of ragging or harassment. Anti-ragging forms are filled by every student of the college.

after completing my 12th, I wanted to be a part of medical college and then I got recommended by my brother to join the DIMS institution. I came to the college, visited the campus and met a faculty member who clears my doubts regarding the fee structure and much more and I was admitted to the college.

the faculty of college is very helpful,co-operative, understanding and highly knowledgeable.all the faculty members are highly skillful and knowledgeable in their respective fields .they encourages the students to ask questions.they are bit strict in the classrooms but outside the classroom they are more than our friends, our helping hands, our guide,instructor...everything.they provide well-maintained notes to make learning more easy to understand.
