Minimum 80% students are placed every year in various domains. But, one thing is that the core departments such as EEE, ECE and MECH too get most placement offers in IT field. Core companies are also recruiting students, but the IT field is the top notch recruiter.

4.5

There are several clubs in Sairam. We are also a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) which makes us stand out globally. We also have IPR cell, BIS clubs to provide awareness on intellectual properties and Standards in day-to-day life.

Admission

Actually, I got into this college through government councelling program. I opted for Government colleges such as CEG and MIT at the first place, but my cut-ff was too low (186/200), thus I got Sri Sairam as my third choice. At present Iam a final year student. Even now I didn't feel like my choice was wrong. Iam very much grateful to get admission in Sri Sairam Engineering College. Compared to other colleges on Tamilnadu, my college is very much strict, I can be frank with that. But, on focusing on your career development and delightful future, this place is the best to rely upon.

Faculty

4

Sri Sairam Engineering College follows Student Mentoring program in which 15 students are assigned for each mentor to enhace their personal supervision. The exam pattern includes three CAT (Continous Assessment Tests) and two Cycle tests (Lab Examinations) before th eend semester.

There's a word outside about VIT that it has so many rules and regulations and they are enforced very strictly but it is not the case. The only thing that is important here is maintaining 75 percentage attendence and not indulge is smoking, drinking or drugs etc and everything will be fine
