Likes

toilets could be maintained rest of the architecture is well built
campus life has been better if they increased the social interactions could be far better

Dislikes

mainly if there are 5 toilets then the three are damaged mostly and fans could have been work faster
boys boys talk, girls girls talk if boys girls talk then the management talk

Course Curriculum Overview

i have chose the computer science curriculum because my family has been saying that it future scope has been high on this stream so i have decided to pursue my education in the university as well as the subjects are far better and currculum would have been imprved better to the stream and update on the subjects could be better.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

as the information i have heard from the friend and seniors the placement compared to boys and girls , girls have more placement in the history ever happend and package is under 3l and they have bonds compartively more than 3 years and many have feel not comfortable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

in this college fees structure will be raised over 10k to 15k over a year period and transportation fees is priced as 20k has mandatory and based on the pick up points it will charged over various rates for the location of anna nagar it has been charged over 30k so total of an amount 50 k has been used. after a sometime during the ending of each semester we will be charged an amount of nearly 2k will be charged. and un wanted fees of seminar fees willl be collected around 25k.

Campus Life

apart form college i have joined in an organisation so called seyal foundation made me available in social causes and learnt to improve my life in good ways sports wise i have more passion and my friend i smore into handball but your college could make more initatiatives.

Admission

i have got an admission in srm university but due to th relations have recommend this institution i have no other chances rather dhan joining in this college but i will not hesitate joining this college things that i have regret is they are not allowing private vehicles to the instituion strict rules thats we should not wear casuals to the college.

Faculty

the ratio they said as they could monitor and mentor students could be 1:20 but class teaching strength ratio is 1:64 as the teaching staff are super friendly and helped in clearing the doubts but the first year s and h department staff from physics department staffs could be far better .

Remarks:

There's a word outside about VIT that it has so many rules and regulations and they are enforced very strictly but it is not the case. The only thing that is important here is maintaining 75 percentage attendence and not indulge is smoking, drinking or drugs etc and everything will be fine

Sad truth

I applied through tnea counselling. I had a cutoff of 189.5/200 and I applied for top colleges like CEG,MIT,SSN. I know I won't get seat in those colleges as my cutoff is not upto that level. My Engineering College Experience

Had a wonderful experience with my college staffs and colleagues. I would like to give 10/10 for the campus,hygiene, management staff, food, hostel,transport,facilities. I would give 9/10 for department staffs as they need to be updated and teach practical lessons about industrial application with current working examples. 8/10 for library facility as there are only few available books for students (only 2 for 5 ratio). 7/10 for sports as my college needs to extend their support more on sports facilities and training students. Best college with amazing atmosphere

SEC has a huge campus with almost 12 academic blocks. Additionally, it also has two grounds for outdoor/sports-related activities and many conference halls. Classrooms are huge and equipped with modern educational technologies such as smart-board and projectors which is, currently, the most efficient way of teaching and better learning of the students. Labs are very spacious and have all types of computers required by any engineering student from open source systems to windows based systems.
