- The campus life is not that much good. They don't arrange so many functions and extra activities.
- The lab teaching is good they low availability of required instruments .also some of the instruments not working properly
- The teachers have some internal politics in between them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college have good staff thatwhy i choose this course. The curriculum have great therotical knowledge but lack of practical knowledge and it is old curriculum as compared to the current world standard. University have to change the curricular and increase the practical knowledge is important. The exams are quite frequents but it is moderate in level
Internships Opportunities
They provide intership in various instiutents and industries company. They provide in national chemical laboratory also ICT mumbai. In NCL they do some samll projects related to oraganic Synthesis to make plastics .
Placement Experience
There is no campus placement available for ug student's. If you want they can provide interships only in any industries related company. The placement they provide only for pg students.But you can do projects in ug course and they send you issers iits projects competitions.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college become autonomous when i complete my graduation degree. That's the reason now fees are increased by 10% to 15%. The college takes admission fees 50rs tution fees 1500, College maintenance 2200 laboratory fess 800 as like many fees they charges. I am in open category thats why there is only two option is available learn and earn and rajashri shahu maharaj yojana . Other category obc have state government funded scholarship and sc and st have very low fees during admission process.
Campus Life
Here they don't arrange thatmuch festivals days. They celebrate some days only but also they give whole week for the colleges days. The chemistry department arrange covalence fest in every years. They supportive for the sports and every year they arrange interacollege sports day . Also have library access and easy to use also. They have ncc and nss camp in the college life.
Hostel Facilities
I am day scholar during my ug but i get know by my friend about the hostel. The hostel is good they provide room for two persons and have mess at 3 times. But the hostel fees are to high qround 90000 per annum is the hosetel fees they demands. Room also have great.
Admission
I applied for Ferguson college , This abasaheb Garware College and sir pershurambhqu college. In fc I don't get admission due my low percentage and i gets rejected. In Abasaheb due to my in-house quota i get the admission and i rejected sp due to it's some bad point i heared during the admission process. I filled my admission form online in given website of the respective colleges and after my name come in merit list i have to only submit the documents in respective college . And pay the fees. The admission experience is good
Faculty
The faculty is well experience faculty in all pune university under colleges. It is very renowned faculty in pune. Here around 14 faculty members in this department with minimun 10 years teacing experience they have. The examsare moderate in level. They take 1 intenal in every semester and also have assignments and seminars in semisters. They conduct all lectures on time.
Interview Experience
Gor ug admission they take on the basis of the merit list . They conduct three rounds of merit list so they don't take any group discussion and interview during the admission process. Also admission done by the online and no test required for it. But for pg they conduct the entrance test.
