- The utensils in the hostel premises were not that well maintained. It would be better to carry your own utensils if you wish to cook.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a detailed bifurcation for the Artificial intelligence field starting with the basics like what is data and how to understand it and derive insights from it, upto how to use machine learning and AI algorithms to apply on the data for certain use cases.
Internships Opportunities
For data science, many companies came for internships that offered pre placement offers as well for few. Top consulting firms such as Big4 also came for placements. Roles such as data science intern, business analyst, data analyst, etc were offered
Placement Experience
The college provides fare placements, but still there is a chance of improvement especially for the field of data science. From our batch 100% of students got placed, but keeping the scope of field in mind, the average package is low as compared to the investment
Fees and Financial Aid
The entire fees of the course for 2021 batch was around 14 lakhs including hostel fees. Since this was a resedential program, hostel was compulsory. The fees can be paid in 4 instalments which will be per semester.
Campus Life
The college provides various clubs which includes knowledge clubs and well as cultural clubs. The main fest of the college is Graffiti. Since all the three college, SCMHRD, SIIB abd SCIT are in the same campuses, one gets a chance to enjoy all the main fests of all the colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels were good, clean and the mess food is also good and mangeable. The warderns are strict but supportive. Only disadvantage is since it is a residential program, hostel is compulsory, so even if you have your own home in pune, you would have no choice but to stay at hostel
Admission
During our times, data science field started getting recognition and the college did justice for making a well defined plan for teaching the entire data science concepts considering the vast domain. This the only college for people who specifically wish to pursue their careers in IT or consulting firms
Faculty
The course structure covered the entire branch of Arrificial Intelligence. It includes flexi credit courses that the students had the freedom to choose as per their interests. The faculties were very experienced and supportive. The course is divided into 4 semesters so which includes 4 exams per semester. It includes assignments, research paper as per the respective faculties
Interview Experience
The process involved starting with SNAP, once shortlisted you will be getting calls for GDPI. Group discussion topis vary it can be current affairs, it can be any basic disucssion, etc. Followed by the personal interview, where your entire resume is discussed to know if you are best fit for the college.
