My experience with Doon institute of medical sciences is fabulous.

Doon Institute of medical sciences is the best nursing college in Dehradun. All faculty members are very helpful. Campus with very nice facilities like auditorium, hostels, labs and outdoor activities for students. The campus is beautiful with lots of greenery.

GNM third year course curriculum is very clear it is a 3 years course. After completing every unit there will be a test for evaluation. The monthly test is also get placed in every month. The way of studying is research driven, relevant, and fair. All departments have there separate practical labs.

I did't know very much about placement but the Doon Institute of medical sciences has contacts with top graded MNC and hospitals like synergy hospital, Max hospital, Doon hospitals and also they have their own DIMS hospital for placing the student in very good CTC.

Doon Institute of medical sciences supported all types of the festival in the campus like Republic day, Holi, World health day, Independence day, Oath ceremony, fresher party, Nurses day, Christmas. all religious festivals are celebrated together with the students.

If we are talking about the fee structure of college than it is normal as compared to other colleges in the Dehradun. they charge 75000/ year and hostel charges extra as per your need. 60000 is the basic cost for the hostel for three girls each. rooms are well specious for us.

No, I don't have any kind of scholarship but the Doon Institute of medical sciences provides so many scholarships according to student skills and needs the base.

The gender ratio in my college is 10:2 women: men where sports are conducted at the state level the students go for the competition like model competition, drawing competition, poster making, and many others are there. Debates competition is there where the winners are awarded the prize.

In the Doon Institute of medical sciences, the seniors are very helpful as they guide us in a very good and healthy direction.

After completed my graduation i searched many coll Dehradun .at the last my brother told me about this college he came in this college and collected all information about this college had a seen many colleges who do not show lab, classroom, hostel, college campus before taking admission but in my college they had shown those things which I really liked.
