Likes

The faculty is very friendly if you are respectful enough
Lots of event, lots of opportunities provided by college for extracurricular activities
Ragging free campus. In my experience I haven't seen or experienced ragging myself.

Dislikes

There are very less holidays but this can be good if you enjoy being in college
Canteen is not that good. But you can always eat outside right next to college
Canteen is not that big . it's just a single room

Course Curriculum Overview

Lot's of subjects in bca. With different topics each semester. If you are sincere enough you will be have good control on your coding skills as well as good knowledge about computers. Exams , quiz happens frequently you can even ask the teacher to take your test in their respective subject. You will have ample knowledge to survive in this cutthroat competitive ever growing world of computers and technology.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As i remember if you've scored above 70% you get 25% scholarship, above 85% then 50% scholarship and if above 90% then 100% scholarship. This is obviously according to your 12th standard marks. The scholarship is applied to first year only then you have to score academically in class to continue the scholarship, bca fees 1st year per semester 52000, 2nd year fees 56000 per semester, 3rd year fees 59000 per semester.

Campus Life

One of the best infrastructure in jharkhand, centralized air conditioning all around the campus. Hostels provided , projector in every class ,mic and speaker ,cctv cameras, good quality benches in all the classrooms. Beautiful auditorium with events happening all year.

Admission

I just applied for ranchi University other than amity university. I applied for bba there but my intrest was always in computers. And the college environment was just not suited for me. For admission in Amity University is quite simple actually. You just have to give your contact details in the amity and the college staff will reach out to you and guide you through everything.

Faculty

The faculty is friendly any doubt you can ask them without being even a bit hesitant. You can go in and out of staff room whenever you seek a teacher's guidance. Each semester is around 4 months then 10 days break for preparing for end sem. And exams for 10 days.notes are readily provided by the respective course teacher. Mid sem in 2 months after course commencement.

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.

I had some health issues due to which i wasn't able to fill the form on time and the admission process for most of the colleges got over. But then I got Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi who accepted my admission request on September last since the admission was still going on. I didnt had any interviews instead i was directly admitted to the BCA cource which i opted for with 50% Scholarship as of the marks I scored in my 12 th board. So yes you can get a scholarship throughout your academic year depending upon your 12 th marks and also you need to be consistent with your high-scoring cgpa. If you score under (85-90)% on boards then you get a 25 % scholarship. And if you fall under (90-95)% then you get 50% and above that, you get a 100% scholarship.
