- I’m a person who is always into sports and seeing sports facilities of this university had me falling in love with it
- You also have a variety of food options at the cafeteria and there 3-4 in house cafés in the campus
- The anti-ragging initiative works very well , and i have never faced any ragging nor have my peers
Dislikes
- The walking distance from the cafeteria till the classes is kinda long , even with the continuous running buses there is a very high chance you won’t find a seat
Course Curriculum Overview
I like how they focus a lot on our portfolio building throughout 4 years of college , they help us build our LinkedIn profiles and a lot of other aspects , this aspect really influenced me to to go with Woxsen university
Internships Opportunities
They connect us to a private internship and training facility which has 1 mentor to 1 metee ratio this helps the mentor to guide us on every step , there is option for doing your internship online or offline according to your comfort
Placement Experience
Woxsen has an 100 percent placement guarantee as they are directly connected to MNC's And other design firms , from what had from my seniors if your dedicated to getting your work done the university will make sure your placed
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid a total of 7 lakhs . 3.25lakhs for tution and 3.85lakhs for hostel , there was additional fee for ac and laundry which was 68k and 24 k . There are also scholarships that range from 15 percent to 50 percent which only applies for tution fee
Campus Life
I have been there only for a month but my overall experience until now has been very pleasant, and there is a lot options for clubs one of the clubs that had my attention the most was financial services, they teach you how to start a company till how to start trading
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room are very clean and the AC works well if there is any issues you write a complaint in the complaint register and they fix it within 2-3 days other than that if you are sick they will send food to your room
Admission
I applied for shristhi Manipal banglore too , I got into both the universities the admission process for Woxsen is very simple , they will take into consideration of your other design tests if you took any or else the university has its own design test called WDT I would say it tough but if you focus enough you can get accepted very easily , building a school portfolio is very important too
Faculty
The lecturer for the class changed every 15 days , we have a different module every 15 days , you will have your work inspected on every Friday and a jury at the end of every semester , overall it's a very nice experience
