Remarks

I applied for the govt.medical colleges first..but couldn't make it to there as my rank is low..but i choose this colege over other private college as it has better- academics, overall study environment, very good patient load and also it is situated in most developed and cleanest city of MP. -The admission process of my college is same as that for any other medical college i.e. through counselling. The eligibilty exam for MBBS is NEET and 12th pass with atleast 50% marks in every subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

-Areas of improvement -faculties for some subject -Frequency and timing of exams is good as sessional 1st comprises of half of the syllabus and 2nd sessional comprises of other half ..then pre university consist of whole syllabus and then finally university

Internships Opportunities

2

-In Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, ther is no stipend is given to students during internship which is a bigg loss -In govt.colleges stipend has been given to students but in SAIMS no stipend????

Fees and Financial Aid

-The year wise fees Of SAIMS Indore is-14,65000 -Various Scholarship options are available such as-MMVY and Post Metric... (For MMVY, student must have scored 75% in class 12th and have family income of less than 6,00000 per yr.) (Some criteria also present for post metric) -Reservation for SC,ST are also present -There is no miscellaneous fee in SAIMS,Indore but additional charges for fest, journals etc are taken during the course of time.

Campus Life

5

-There is annual fest which is named Harmony in our college, which is normally held in april month -library in SAIMS is very good ,as it contai all the books of all authors related to MBBS,also of BDS and BPT. -library in SAIMS remains open throughout the day and till 10.30pm. Teaching in SAIMS is done by smart board and not by chalk and blackboard.

Hostel Facilities

4

-I am living in college hostel in 2 seater room and the fees of two seater is-115000,three seater-76000 -Saims has two girls hostel (gharonda and sewa) and one boys hostel(samarpan) -The size of rooms is quite big and very spacious as the size of two seater and three seater is same the only differnce is that three seater have three beds and two has 2 beds and almirahs etc. In termsof nutrition the meal provided in central mess is very good(but as it is hostel so as usual food is not like home????) -There are some cons- there is no washing machine provided by hostel,No gas or induction,no free wifi.

Faculty

4.5

-Faculty to student ratio is good -I personally liked the anatomy faculties (HOD-Manjunath Motagi sir) in first year -The micro faculties of 2nd year is not so good . There are four exams every year which are- two sessionals, one pre university and then final university exam.

In mbbs there is internship and students get into it in final year like after completing 4.5 years of mbbs and they get stipend also. But for further studies you have to give a neet pg exam and to pursuing MD/MS you have to score a decent marks. My further plan is to clear neet pg exam and to get a medicine seat in government college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs course is a good degree in which you get to secure your lifetime and you'll get needed companioship and good reputation. Faculty number is little low comparing to the number of students. Faculties are highly qualified but their teaching methods and management is not upto mark, lot of improvements are needed. Their are little high crises of attendance. Exams are held timely and year schedule is circulated beforehand, which is positive point comparing to other college. Passing exams both theory and practical are moderate, not too difficult or easy. Good for average students.
