Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To become a doctor By providing internship amd having knowledge about many things in the body The course is good but should have the license of doing surgery the teachers must provide enough notes to students. According to my point of view the time for internal exams should be increased at exam should be held for 2 hours.

Internships Opportunities

4

We have internships in hospitals We go to internship from 2dn year to 6th year In 2nd and 3rd year we go 1 day in a week but in 4th year we go 2 days and in 5th year we only come to clg for one day and 6th year fully in hospital

Placement Experience

3.5

As I'm pharm d student i don't have semesters i have yearly exams so in 5th year we are allegable for the campus placement The companies visited are hetero, Deloitte, sales force and many more which have offered about 50 to 60 seats The highest package till now given by hetero company is 4.5 About 40% students get placement I'll go abroad for further more studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 1 lakh 15 thousand in which the tution fees is 10 thousand and hospital fees is 5 thousand there is no lab fees and development fees. Management fees is high but those for general category who got seat also have to pay 1 lakh and change for coming under generak category. For sc st one of my friend her fees is about 20 thousand. Scholarships are provided and they only pay half the college fees.

Campus Life

4.5

We usually habe traditional day in the month of february, we celebrate orientation day in the month of September or October, we celebrate conferences held each in a year The faculty usually teaches using board but some times shows ppt or presentations We celebrate sports day and many competitions of sports and hsve summer camp Students have ipasf and co-ordinators who make several competition and programs

Admission

The first thing why i choosed this college is because of its placements, secondly it is near to my house so that i do not get tired while travelling, further more the clg is among top 10 best colleges of pharmacy in hyd. The reason I rejected other colleges is because of non teaching staff not having good environment and had a long distance from my town place I never got a rejection from any of the college because I had a good score in my 10th and intermediate. More over i have applied to my clg and got admission The admission process includes getting a seat in eamcet. Then comes the process for counselling but if you didn't got seat you may apply for management

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is good even the principal is good too have a friendly behavior with students... Inspite of this some faculty shows biasness towards topper. I like rahman sir, navya mam, sareesh sir, santosh sir as they never did parshality treated me as their daughter never insulted me always motivated me in my hard times. I dont like suhasini mam as she ruined my college life with out having any knowledge about me an my personal things... We have 3 mids of 30 marks.. Sometimes they are easy but some questions can be asked difficult. Every student passes the exam no one fails.. The course curriculum is often good

Course Curriculum Overview:

pharmD is an integrated course, that gives medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, helps you to serve a larger role in the healthcare system, this motivated me to take the course. We often go to hospital rotations where we learn to collect several case reports of patients with their consent. We even do project works, assignments related to the diseases and medication. We work onthe drug intractions within the medications prescribed in the case report. The course seems to be versatile but it has it's own flaws. Like our college fsils to complete the course within time, don't follow almnac. The teaching methods should be improved focussing on the practical training ratger tgan being theortical. The exams should be fixed at a particular date and tge syllabus should be completed within that time preparining students to attempt with ease. The course and the syllabus mentioned in the course are dope and impressive but the implementation shouod be focussed by the individual colleges.

The main reason to choose this course is it holds a doctorate. It is not a semester wise exam type of course the pressure would be 10times more so the level of the paper should be kept less hard to avoid pressure on students
