Course Curriculum Overview

The BCom Course is not much tough. But, the Account subjects are tough.. The course also provides your choice subject selection in 2nd Year. In 2nd Year students can choose from Advertising and IT. As I have chosen IT it is good.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 20600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a bcom student. Right now I'm pursuing 2nd Year. I fees for 1st year was Around 16,200. And for 2nd Year it is 20,600. The College provides scholarships. And there is no reservation system, like if the guy is from ST so he will get discount on his fees.

Campus Life

The College Campus is overall Good. It gives the rich feeling. The college Conducts many Competitions like dance, rangoli and sports. The infrastructure of my college is Not bad. The college also provides NSS.

Admission

I have chosen this college, as it was near from my house. And the big reason is that this college have some reputation, the only thing is the students are from the worst places. Like Govandi and Mankhurd.

Faculty

In Bcom there are total 6 Semesters. So, they have divided it to 3 years. Like 1st year 2 semester, 2nd year 2 semester and 3rd Year 2 semester. There are some teachers who are rude. I like my first year teacher named Arya Bacchan.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
