Remarks

The college excels in providing good infrastructure, advanced equipment, and experienced faculty but lacks in providing practical exposure to its students. There is minimal exposure to the subject's technicalities. Emphasis is given to theoretical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is systematically structured. Research papers are prepared by the students every semester which is considered an essential task throughout the course. Exams are conducted within the university, are fair and invigilated by experienced faculty. The course includes designing and strategizing presentations. Practical exposure is not up to the mark. Practical equipment is available yet there is a lack of practical exposure to the subject. Students frequently complain about the same.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college faculty provides information regarding various internships. Some of the internship assistance provided by the faculty included an internship with All India Radio, BBC, Zee News, Hindustan Times, etc. Companies show up in the college to hire the students. Statistically, the university provides a good number of placements to its students. The mentors guide the students throughout to sit for various companies be it for internship or placement.

College Events

5

Sangathan is the most celebrated sports fest celebrated in the University. If one is into sports, Amity is the right place to get oneself into. There is almost every sports equipment present in the University which is why Sanghatan is the best of all the events. Apart from it, the university organizes an annual college fest. Various departmental fests are also celebrated which includes talk shoes, discussions with the experts, events where experts from various nations are called to present their views on the topic. Amity provides the students with the best of exposure to events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the first semester cost 1 lakh and 15 thousand rupees in total. The fee structure for the second semester was the same amount which makes a total of 2 lakh and 30 thousand rupees for a year. The fee at ASCO is higher as compared to other Master(Art) courses in the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any kind of scholarship program at the college. Also, I have not opted for an education loan for the same.

Campus Life

5

The University is extraordinarily structured with one of the best and latest technology gadgets in the studios as well as the labs. Sports along with the equipment, as already mentioned excel at Amity. The ratio of women exceeds men at ASCO. In my class, there are 37 students in total out of which only 11 are male.

Alumni/Alumna

Student passed out from the college often visit the college to guide and councel the current batch and give them a direction. for example, a book launch was organised at Amity for one of the alumni.

Admission

The University holds a common aptitude test for the applicants which is followed by a personal interview with the faculty. The interview included question and answer session on the topics associated with the subject. Once the interview procedure is successful, the selected students are informed if they have been selected or rejected to receive education from the University.

Faculty

4

The faculty attains abundant knowledge of their specialization. The faculty is highly qualified, well experienced and devoted to the students. They are available for the students at all the times and the university makes sure it assess the faculty every semester by taking feedback from the students on the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.
