I took OJEE enterence exam in 2012 and got 1600 rank and I had joined B.tech. Because I have intrest in that so I joined itI choose GITAM college because it has good placement records.

College has a good repution for placement. about 60 % student get placed every year in some reputed company. Student got placement in companies like TCS, WIPRO,INFOSYS,RETAILON, TECH MAHINDRA. This year students got placed in tcs with a package of 3.4lac and retailon at the package of 4 lac.

College Events

College organises many seminars on latest technologies like java, Android .Net so that student can meet with the demands of company before placement. And also organises annual function for three days every year. It also organises sports day which lasts for five days.

The college is providing some scholarship to the highest scorer of the year. However students can also apply for the scholarship provided by the government for backward students.

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After the completion of 12th , I gave OJEE and got a good rank , and then I applied in a government scholarship scheme which is called TFW and got selected by this collage, for that scheme my 50% course Fee got waved.
