Victorians

I took commerce for my plus two and also i heard that in Victoria commerce got the most ranks in all india wise and that was true even my seniors got the ranks. So how can a commerce student not take bcom from Victoria. I also felt like there should be more improvement in teaching not for every subjects. But I felt like some students can't get to other students level of studing,the teachers are trying there best but I still felt like they should try more.

There are projects given by our teachers at the last year. Also for my course a lot of internships for ca cma acca banking are provided by college from different companies. Our teachers also give us seminars and other activities to engage us also to make sure that we know how to present one and also for good communication skills and confidence. They provide us with different tasks.

Every third year students get campus interview and they provide us with a lot of options. In our third year from the beginning itself there will be lots of classes and interviews and campus interview fest and everything for us. Different big opportunities have come to Victoria till now.

The fees in Victoria College is according to the course. As I'm a commerce student, for first, second semester i paid 485 rupees and third and fourth 520 rupees ,for fifth and sixth it's 585 rupees. So basically for my first year the total fees is 970 rupees.There is also lots of scholarships and also E-grant provided by the government,where it'll cover our fees ,the fees structure also varies according to our caste as I'm obc this is my fees.The fees for other caste such as SC,ST, etc students are much different.The fees structure in my college is very optable for every student.Thank you

There are different clubs in Victoria, sports club,arts club, music club, dance club, social club etc. and every student interested is welcomed in it. As I'm there is both sports and arts club I can say it is very interesting. We conduct interdependent arts and sports competition to make sure every students get the chance to participate in it. We also celebrate every festivals such as Christmas,ramzan, onam , Pongal etc and also there are so many programs where even flim stars comes as guests. Also the facilities provided in the class room is great ,they provide us with benches, a board , projectors, even a cupboard for students.

Mainly I joined for sports and arts. Victoria have the best sports and arts victories in a decade. So how can I choose other options. As I said they also have all india rank for students in studies too. Also I was trying for kannur university and later i came to know that the sports and training is not that good as Victoria. So I changed my decision and also my parents are so proud that I study here

The facilities in Victoria is great.we actually got a new building for some departments like maths, history etc with such good facilities. Every department has common toilets and also attached ones.Also HOD is provided for every department. The exams are according to the Calicut University. They would announce the exam time table way before exam and we would get time to study.There is two semesters in one year,that is 5-6 subjects a semester.The exams are not that tough, anyway I cleared everything for the main exam itself even after studing the day before exam.There is so faculty that I don't like.Every teachers are friendly to us and they help us.

No i didn't face a group discussion or interviews for admission. The admission in Victoria is considered through mark basis,the students should have approx 97-100 percentage of mark to get in Victoria. Me myself got 1st rank admission through sports, so there are also other options like sports arts also different caste group has different mark level and we apply through online for admission and they call us and then we go through procedures .
