LIFE AT RLBCAU

The course is very practical and is mostly research based. I wanted to help the feeders of the nation and try and uplift their situations thus I opted for this course. The classes have smart boards so classes are super interactive. The exams are bit stressful but obviously necessary and do help in shaping our knowledge.

We are provided internship opportunities at companies like Dhanuka, Manupra mushrooms etc. The stipend is around 20000 for 3 months and we get knowledge about the works related to our field. Basically the internship provides experience and build strong work ethics among the students.

The fees is 8880 per semester and it includes hostel fees and tuition fees. There are 2 semesters in one year making it 17760 per year. It takes students through icar cuet so we are provided nts scholarship of 3000 per month. It is a government institution so the price doesnot increase.

There is one annual foundation day celebration that is celebrated with great joy and pomp. Convocation includes imminent guests like agriculture ministers of both centre and uttarpradesh state. All national events are also celebrated. Decorations are top notch. There are student run programs too. All festivals are celebrated by the student union and there is a great unity and bonding among all the students. There are 2 sports events that are held annually and includes both indoor and outdoor sports.

Hostels might be one of these best features of this university. The infrastructure is amazing. We are give huge rooms each with a capacity of 3 people. We are provided with 3 beds, 3 lights, 2 fans, 3 separate cupboard of plywood, 3 cabinets of plywood, 3 tables, 3 chairs, a cooler, and a spacious balcony. The aunties clean the floors everyday and bathrooms are also provided with every necessity. The mess is student run and and quality of food is good. The mess fees is 2600 per month and hostel fees are included in the semester fees exclusive of mess fees which has to be paid every month.

I was selected through icar entrance exam and gave this university first place in choice list. As soon as I was selected in the first round, I joined in. Then we are called in for physical reporting where we deposit our documents and do the registration.

The faculty student ratio is around 1:5. All the professors are very supportive and friendly. They are very approachable and knowledgeable. Some of them are also from scientist category. There are 2 semesters in a year. Each semester consists of 1 midterm of 30 marks, 2 quizes of 10 marks each and 1 endterm of 100 marks theory and 100 marks practical. It's is of moderate level and the each semester has around 10 courses
