As it is a government dental college..there are many areas where you can explore

Dislikes

Hostel toxicity is here.. like many old schooled things which is inappropriate regarding a medical college
There is no mess in the girl's hostel...and this is very uncomfortable

In first year.. there are of total 4 subjects..of which three are of medical subjects and 1 is of dental... dental subject is Dental anatomy and dental histology and medical subjects are anatomy physiology and biochemistry...three internal exams and one final university exam is there.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship programs also there in the GDC Nagpur like SIP which is known as Summer internship program in which the students apply from the very first years in which they got college apart from the Maharashtra and the duration of the internship program very according to the course and they also get paid for it

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm studying in first year of GDC nagpur...the fees structure here for all India quota student is...tution fees -95,500 and caution money is 8,900 and the per year hostel fees is 4000 rupees,here many scholarships are also granted for state quota students accordingly

Apart from the academics hear the focus is also drawn on cultural activities here the annual fest is organised which is called gathering which is your 5 day event with includes scientific programs cultural events dance music orchestra knight and many more and during the days of Ganesh chaturthi gfc which is also called Ganesh festival celebration is also organised it is also a 5 day event

Hostel Facilities

In gdc Nagpur government hostel is also provided to the boys and girls also but in girls hostel there is no miss so girls have to go to the MBBS girls hostel or they have to use the tiffin service. Depending on your comfort and your interest in the food there are many tiffin services which you can use. hostel rooms are good.in 1st year we got the rooms on the ground floor.

Admission

I applied to many colleges which include Nair hospital Mumbai and KGMC but I didn't get selected in those colleges because of my neet ranking. I got selection in GDC Nagpur by neet exam of 2023. My overall admission experience in GDC Nagpur was very good.

Faculty

Faculty is very good and supportive..since there are pg seats also in the college.. so all 9 departments of dentistry are there...and every professor is cooperative and they appreciate students to participate in research related activities and many more

Review of my dental school

Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.

We need to take the NEET exam to be admitted to this college. The cut-off of the college varies from year to year. It depends on the Neet cut-off and the competition which is increasing every year. This is the best collage

I have applied in goverment home science collage of hoshangabad and because of lockdown i am not able to attend collage . No i have not availed any quota for addmision .bcz i didnt get any quota by which i can take addmision in collage and do my study and these collage fees are very light . There is no further limit in this programe , you can take addmision in this programe with 40 % percentage marks . The addmision proccees was very good and i have did not face any problem ,first online regestration has to be done and fees have to paid then document verification has to be done by goind to collage and then a list comes to online which the saletion list if our name is in the list then i got addmision in collage by giving photo copy of our documents and giviling transfer certificate and i got addmision in my favourite collage and i am very happy .i love this collage ....Read More
