Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

They give us a lot of practical knowledge which help us to become better doctors. It teaches us to effectively treat patients in our future. The syllabus is too wide to complete. Chapters need to be divided in two exams per year.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In mbbs we have to compulsory do an internship of ine year in the same college we studied the course. We get a minimum stipend every day for the duty we do in the college. After our internship we can practice in any hospital nd gain sone experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

My yearly fees is rs.60,000. My course is for 5.5 years. Last year I hav to do internship so I have to pay for 4 years. Tht comes around rs.2,40,000. Some of my batchmates have scholarship as they are bc-e category so they get their complete fees paid through it. Apart from this everyone has to pay rs10,000 irrespective of scholarship benefit.

Campus Life

4

We have one annual fest every year i.e called as pulsation which is usually held in dec nd jan. we have proper access to all the books in d library. They teach us through the ppts so we can learn effectively. We have all sports facility available in our college during fest. We have all types of competitions both indoor nd outdoor activities.

Admission

In my course we get colleges according to our marks. So my score was according to this college so i got admission in this college. To get admitted into mbbs college u hav to crack neet exam. You should get your rank within first 90k to get a free seat.

Faculty

4

The faculty is enough to teach everyone. My faculty is very approachable. Amena mam was my biochem lecturer i liked her teaching style. It was very catchy. Some of the faculty i didnt like bcoz they just read the ppts nd walk out. We have two internals and one prefinal and one final each year. Its little difficult to study the entire syllabus but u can try nd complete important topics with a strict schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very relevant and comprehensive course. A central body called NMC looks over all the undergraduate students all over the country. I had a good interest in biology and life sciences which made me choose PCMB in 11th and 12th and respectively choose MBBS as my undergraduate degree. The ciricullum always strives to help the student understand real life applications with clinical aspects in every chapter and every sub topic. Practicals and theory are both well planned for all the subjects throughout the duration of the course to help each student learn the basics that will be applied in real life during hospital visits and clinical laboratories. The ciricullum also offers a course on attitude, ethics and communication called AETCOM to help students get better communicating with patients they come across everyday in hospital. These AETCOM classes are conducted regularly every month by every department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has around 19 subjects in the curriculum and that's very important to learn these subject to graduate as a professional doctor. The teaching methods that they choose are so apt to make the concepts clear to the students. 3 internals are conducted for every batch before their University exams(finals). They also conduct weekly exams (FAs) before we write internals. The CBME curriculum helps in emphasising the clinical aspects more which prepares us for the real world applications and further academic pursuits.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medicine is a very interesting subject and that is what attracted me to it. The applications and reasoning you learn here are amazing. The faculty of ESIC Hyderabad is very qualified and skilled. We have multiple professors for the same subject, because of this our student: teacher ratio is very solid. About every day we are divided into small groups for discussion where around 8 students are mentored by 1 teacher, so the personal attention is very nice. All the faculty here have done MD from renowned institutes. the teaching methodologies used here are very effective and different from other colleges. This institute provides students with a more practical and clinical-oriented learning style from day 1. We have seminars, presentations, quizzes, discussions, anything to enhance the teaching process. Exams here are conducted very often, true it's hectic but that is what helps us get through this extremely tough course. The exams are conducted like weekly once or even twice later on.
