Course Curriculum Overview

I was always interested in computer that's why I choose bca and to be honest this college was my last option that's why I took addmission in it. You can join there internship program if you like so they will train you for interview and jobs. They should add some good faculties and improve computer system

Internships Opportunities

2.5

From the 2nd year we have to create a project in group of 5 peoples in which we have to project accourding to current semester subjects like Machine learning, data mining or iot based project ETC. They also provide internship at company like Wipro, amazon, ibd, tata, tcs ETC There is one draw back internship that they make bond that you can't leave that perticular company till certain time

Fees and Financial Aid

At time of addmission you have to pay 5000 deposit wich will be refunded after completing the course, and you have to pay 1500 for enrollment fees and annually 1500 of professional regular fees. Your tution fees will be remain same. Then you have to pay 2500 for exam fees per semester, if you have any backlog you have to pay 1000 for per semester for backlog exam. In final year you have to pay 3000 as convocation fees. There is one option if you want to pay your tution fees on monthly emi based without extra charges.

Campus Life

4

They have annual function named junoon around January, February. Per semester they had carnival. Function at college aniversary which is feld aroung August. In this university there is one famous club named " palm tree club " most of the competition organised by them like hackathon, jumbled coding, treasure hung, e-sport tournament, university also collebe with other brands for tournament They have very nice student portal web site in wich you can see your academic detail, marks ETC. They organize sporting events also. In most of the classroom they have projector that make studies easy to understand They also held dancing, singing, fancy dress, drama ETC events Some of the famous celebrity visit university time by time

Admission

In gujrat there is merit system if you want to get addmission in government colleges I have applied in that and maybe I was rejected because in merit system they first give addmission to lower cast and for higher cast there is very high cutoff that's why I couldn't enroll in any government colleges, I have also visited some private colleges but most of these college were already full. I silver oak university there is very simple and easy addmission process, you can get addmission offline by visiting campus as well as from home by online addmission through University web site. In silver oak university they don't take any entres exmas you can get addmission directly if have passed your 12th there is no cutoff system in this university if you have passed your 12th you can get addmission in it.

Faculty

2

There is only 1 faculty for 100 students wich is pretty bad ratio, even tho faculties are pretty approchable they give answers of your every question studyes related as well as industry related and give some good life lessons. There is one faculty name shyam sir he is one of the best faculty in our whole University he teach python, jQuery and javascript, he's teaching methods are very interesting, he make studies fun and interactive. Some of the faculties are not that good because they don't pay attention on students and doesn't give answers, some of them don't even know what are they teaching about or concept. Giving exam is pretty easy you can easily score higher marks.

Remarks:

Advantages: without these new opportunities, many students would never have realized a college degree was still possible. The advantages include: 1. Reduced Cost The competitiveness for enrolling students in online courses (or to complete degree programs), literally from across the globe, has created a marketplace that enables students to enroll in almost any course provided by dozens of institutions. This competition has driven both the cost to the institution and the price for the student downward due to almost unlimited enrollments. 2. Accessibility Similarly, the online course environment and proliferation of such opportunities enables students to enroll in courses at multiple times during the calendar year and to complete the required work for each course on their own time, that is, around work, family and other personal obligations. Students are also able to complete courses at a single location, usually their own home, a library or some other designated space. The alleviation of time and space restrictions for learning is a tremendous enhancement to this degree completion opportunity. 3. Fulfillment of Dreams Perhaps the most significant of the results associated with these opportunities for many students is the realization they are able to earn a degree, which might have seemed unattainable until now. Many of the barriers to completion are removed from their paths and a college degree is suddenly within reach. Disadvantages: capitalizing on these opportunities may come with some risk. The consumer of any commodity must always acknowledge the “buyer beware” warning label, and this is unfortunately also true with higher education. Some disadvantages (warnings) include: 1. Inflated Expectations (especially for transfer) Sometimes students may become so enthralled with their new opportunities for courses they might make assumptions about how their newly-earned credits will apply to their previous degree program or transfer to the institutions they previously attended. Academic policies at a former institution might allow for limited courses taken at other institutions, have time limits on specific courses or have substantial changes in degree requirements. Clearly, students must confer with the institution from which they intend to earn a degree before enrolling in courses. 2. Coherence of the Degree Program When students take advantage of the multiple and varied opportunities for completing courses that enable them to advance their degree, they often succumb to the simple criterion of availability — if it meets a requirement, it’s okay. This principle might be true, but the relationships of the total curriculum could easily be lost in the disconnectedness of taking courses from many different sources. This is not to say students do not learn from each course, but that the integration of course content may not be obvious when left to the individual students to infer. 3. Vulnerability Unfortunately, there are course and degree “providers” engaged in this new opportunity that are not as ethical, or even legitimate, as most are. Misleading advertising can be very compelling to the eager and unsuspecting student, especially since there has been so much positive press about these expectations and opportunities. However, diploma mills do exist, and the student is responsible to verify a provider’s status. Also, some institutions may mask their lack of specific accreditation(s) in order to attract unsuspecting students. Such accreditations can be especially relevant in professional and licensure programs, and even in traditional liberal arts and science, business, health care and other areas.
