Good college for BBA.

I am pursuing BBA Digital Marketing due to my interest towards the social media and online marketing tactics and the increase in digitalization in every field. In Oriental University, the course curriculum is good it prepares you according to your specialization's need and the demands by the companies for the given course. The course curriculum also helps in students to prepare for the real world jobs that are offered by the companies. It helps students to achieve their dream jobs and goals. In short, the course curriculum teaches everything a student is needed to get employment. The professor's teaching methods are excellent. The improvement needed in the course curriculum is to provide more internships and bigger opportunities to the students.

In Oriental University there is a high chance for every student to get an internship. Many companies offer internship in college and the teachers also support and help students to get an internship in big companies like Accenture and Infosys. The roles offered while internship are mainly knowledge and experience based so that the intern can adapt with the office work and understand his role in the company and gain knowledge and experience. The stipend may vary according to the companies and courses of the students.

In Oriental University the placement opportunities are provided. The students become eligible for the placements in their final year of the course. Many big companies visits the campus often for placements some of them are Accenture, Infosys, HDFC bank and many more. The highest package offered for the course is around 12LPA and the average is around 5LPA depending on the student's talent, skills and other factors. The percentage of students getting on campus placement is around 70% those who applied for the placements. My plan after getting the BBA Degree is to do Masters Degree.

In Oriental University the yearly tution fees is around 45,000 to 47,000 (including gst) for the course of BBA with Digital Marketing specialization. The course registration fees is Rs.250 every semester and admission fees was around Rs.2,000 the admission fees is only single time payable. There are more single time payable fees like Contingency Fee which is around Rs.2,500 and Degree fee Rs.500 after the completion of the course. The students also gets scholarship benefits according to their caste (SC,ST,OBC).

The campus life in Oriental University is excellent, there are a lot of events and extracurricular activities done to keep the students engaged and connected with the college. I am a hostel student and the hostel life here is very good there is unity in hostellers, there is no ragging of the new students who come to hostel instead of that the seniors are very friendly and supportive with their juniors. Almost every month a new sports events and other extracurricular activities are performed, festivals are celebrated. The classroom are provided all facilities needed for the classes and studies. There are many students club which helps the students to stay connected with each other and also helps in personality development of the student.

The hostel facility is excellent the maximum number of students in a room is 3 and minimum is 1. The hostel fees is according to the number of students in a room. For single room students there is one bathroom attached to room and one bed, table, chair, fan, cupboard, balcony are provided, the facilities are according to the number of the students in the room. The meal quality of mess is average, food is hygienic. The mess fee is Rs.65,000 yearly, and the hostel fee is according to the people in one room. The hostel registration process is done while college admission.

I applied for many colleges and got accepted but the main reason i didn't take admissions there were due to a huge distance from my home town and my parents won't allow for it. So i took admission in Oriental University. The admission process is very easy, there is no exams important for the admission in the college the student must only be 10+2 passed, and then the students just need to fill the form online in the Oriental University website then a councellor contacts with the student to confirm the admission. The councellor will provide every information needed about the university and its fees structure.

The faculty to student ratio is good there are good teaching staff available. The professors are experienced and very supportive towards their students, they help students with every problem. Faculty is available all the time except lunch break. Both the teaching and non teaching staff are supportive and have a good behaviour towards the students. There are mainly 4 exams each semester, 3 Internal Assessments and 1 End Semester Exam. The Internal Assessments are easy if the students are active with their studies and regularly attend their classes. The End Semester Exams are of moderate difficulty and the students can easily pass the exams if they are focused with their studies. The pass percentage is more than 90% in BBA course only few students may fail due to their own reasons.
