Discipline and compulsory attendance is mandatory in the college, sometimes teacher are remain absent that time they take adjusted lectures and all lecture are compulsory for all the students and they are providing reading hall facilities to self stu
The faculty are providing some industrial tours which helps to develop corporate knowledge and also helps to understand how the corporate world is and they are providing some sessions for entrepreneurship building, they gives the value to our culture
Weekly they are providing training and placement session for all the students and In that they are teaching us, how to prepare for interview and how to solve aptitude test and practical knowledge is also given by them

Dislikes

There is nothing to tell that what things are wrong with college
Everything is good with college so it is difficult to tell that
Some improvement is required in the college

I liked accounting so I decided to continue coomerce but then when I came to second year I realized that there is a lot of scope in marketing and then I will take specialization marketing but there is a lot of theory in it. If so, I hope they focus on digital marketing

Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, excelr,and so on, College is providing internship from second year and they also give placement in 3rd year the minimum package is 3.5 Pa.and we are also going to take internship

There are many scholarships are available in the college like EWS scholarship and the fees structure as below First year tuition fees -30000, Caution fees-5000, Development fees and lab fees-30000, And other charges -500

There are many clubs in the college such as given below Nad Bhramha, Panash club is for fashion, National Service scheme is also there, Now we are newly announcing one club that is cultural and heritage club, Commerce week is also there

I will take admission in this college because I wanted placement and there are many placements in this college and I took reference from from my friend she was also done her college from their and now she is working in the company

But I have figured out that for leo and Rotract they won't give credits to fy degree college students so I feel they should include first-year UGs as well. They are not giving opportunities to junior college students so I feel they junior college students should also have access to be part of different clubs and curriculums

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.com is base of all the course in commerce. And we also can do any other jobs to increase our experience in practical world because in other courses we are not able to get practical experience which is very important. The curriculum is too good as everything is about real world. There is no need to study something which is irrelevant. Everything is good but, I want that as our college opens early at 7am so library should also be open at the same time. Because many times when lectures are cancelled we just waste our time as library opens at 9am.

No issue for attendace thats what influenced me to join for bcom. not even bcom for every degree you dont need attendance just keep track of assignments. curriculum is useless no mistake of college its the syllabus of mumbai university. Teachers can be more sophisticated. 2 exams in a year are conducted and are very easy to pass out for a normal student.

Remarks:

I was a student of KJ Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. College is autonomus now and the exams paper are set by college & not university. Faculty is good. Campus is excellent. Once you leave the college, you will miss everything from lectures, 4 ways, maggi house, management canteen, IV etc. Management students do have placements in good companies. (BMS, BBI, BFM, BAF) So, in short it is a good college with decent students & faculty.

Life at third year of college

I choose this college over the colleges as other colleges are not so educationcentric as this is. This college not only ensures to studies but also take parts in very various others curricular activities like Kshitij photography club NSS. This college also have there on art club called as naad Brahma. And also this college does not support ragging which is a normal thing in other colleges as they don't have strict rules in their colleges. And also this college provides you guaranteed placements Plus and offers you internship with various other companies they are associated with they also provide you an a platform for searching the jobs opportunity and internships the platform is called as POD.
