My experience is 50-50 but my college life is awesome. college management is helpful & easy to approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is according to RGPV Bhopal, and exam structure is RGPV Bhopal and college also. college conduct Industrial Visits, technical event. Yes, this type of activity Enhancement of our practical knowledge and Industrial Exposure. I remember that this knowledge help in the job.

Placement Experience

placement activities are starting in 3rd year, the college also helps in the internship. We also join Internshala that helps in the internship.

Our college celebrates many events such as Kshitij, Holi, Ganesh Sthapna, Annual Function, Rangbhoomi, Garba Ras, Women Day celebration, Engineers day Celebration, Independence Day, Republic Day, Technical Event. my favorite event is Kshitij in which many activities take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At the time of admission Rs 5030, in addition to this 1st year fees Rs 55600 which include bus fees, other expenses are very limited, according to me, it is nominal charge as compare to other cities. because other cities accommodation expenses are more as compare to hometown.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes, I opted a government scholarship. Several Scholarship for SC, ST, OBC, village girls, Dr. Shyama Prasad Scholarship For GENERAL. In our college, the Scholarship Department helps & guide us to fill it & give us related information on time.

Campus Life

My College life is some good some bad experience but overall some sweet memories I have with my college & friends. Gender Ratio is 60:40 ( boy: girls). Some seminar helps us a lot, guest lecture, a special seminar on different issues. Sports activity are also there but not much but many exposures are given to play nodal & state level competition.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, senior is very helpful, but that time no alumni network till 2016. after that college conduct, a alumni meet that is an awesome meet of my life.

Admission

I got the admission by university counseling. 1st is the registration process, Document verification process, choice filling process, college allotment process. registration is done in July 2012, and I join college from 1 August 2012. And some my friend take admission in last of July.

Faculty

Faculties are best in knowledge, but every semester faculty are changed But GATE qualified faculty also teach us. But faculty give me a suggestion for an industry job. I perform a Practical in labs with the help of faculty. projector teaching is also encouraged in our college.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Good option for engineering

Because I wanted to pursue engineering in my own home town. The good thing is staff and teachers are chill & gives assistance at the time of admissions but when we seek for help after first year in terms of career, exams or skills enhancement, they don't give a dam.
