Course Curriculum Overview

Buisness management is a very relevant course for those who looking for a successful career in corporate world. Specific ascepts like corporate law, buisness law ,made my interest higher in studying BBA .There are projects,viva, industrial visits which prepare us for real life applications. Internships are not there in this curriculum it can be included for a better practical application. Exams are conducted frequently and in correct time and they are moderate to easy

Yes , placements are there. Companies like easy link , Accenta etc are there. The highest package was 3 lakh per aanum and average was 2 lakh per aanum. Most of them choose higher studies like MBA so only a few percentage appears for placement. My plan is to get a law degree and to be a corporate lawyer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee- 20000 Management quota - additional 5000 in first year Other miscellaneous fee- around 500 - 1000 a year Scholarships and E-grants available to students availing benefits. Those who are getting e grants scholarships dobnot need to pay any fees.

Campus Life

There are several cultural fest like monsoon fest ,arts fest, college day, movie promotions, inter college competitions etc. A good library with vast collection of books , and a garden library too. Classroom have projecters and screen for digital learning. Sports, Ncc and other activities are also there. Clubs like movie club, arts club etc and NSS also are there

Admission

I have also applied to st Thomas College, which is near to st Mary's College. I could get into there because of the high cut off mark there, I scored 94.8% but still couldn't make it into st thomas. i preferred st thomas because it was an autonomous college but as of 2024 st Mary's is also an autonomous college. Admission in St Mary's for BBA is comparatively easier than st thomas . There is management quota seats for admission also.

There are 4 faculties in BBA department. Each of them have a unique style of teaching. They are non permanent teachers so they change frequently.every semester there will be internal examinations. 90%of students will pass this exams. Faculties are friendly and approachable anytime

My Experience at the university

Likes

I personally loved the campus environment, it's in the complete hilly area. We have very clean hostel facilities for both girls and boys separately. Gym facility is also there. Boys and girls ratio is 6:4
The acadmic staff is too good, there're quite friendly and supportive, they also teach very well, regular internals and assignments are given. The class room is also spacious, no uncomfort.
The matrons (non academic staff) are also so friendly, we have help desk for any related queries, the best quality of this university is they listen to what students want and need, if it is needed they'll surely make the change.

Dislikes

As I'm a non malayali in kerala university, I felt little uncomfortable at start, as most of the staff members and students are communicating in Malayalam.
Apart from gym, we really don't have a great facilities for physical activities, there is one ground but it's not in a good condition. Not every faculty is so good, few teachers will not teach in english they use their mother tounge.
Basically the university is still under construction, that's why we frequently get disturbed by the construction noice.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

One thing to mention is the cleanliness of the college which is absolutely something we have to appreciate! The bathrooms and the classrooms are always clean and well sanitized
Similarly the hostel bathroom bedrooms and the corridors are also spotless.
the faculty members are amazing..they teach with dedication especially prajith sir who deals with business statistic and logic in bba first sem

Dislikes

When we join this college they told us there would be buggy services for out transportion to the gate to hostel incase if we wanted to go outside or anywhere but in reality there is no such services..when we request it security always deny.
Securities always deny and dont not consider our request for buggy they always makes the excuse that the higher authorities would scold them and all
The hostel food is trash.some days like sunday dinner and wednesday dinner are absolutely flavorless and bland we often does not eat on thoses days and we sleep on a empty stomach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

My College Experience : The Ups and Downs

There teacher's positive and friendly behaviour is very good.
this college providing college bus. and final year students are travelling without fee.
In this college, studentrs can interact all persons. Becouse this college is staying in a village.

Dislikes

In this college there no canteen facility.So students are want to go outside stores
The Private bus are not on time. Similarly, the raiway gate will be closed for half an hour due to the passing of the train.
library is not open every days and collection of books is very poor.

This management system is better than other. Feel free to ask. Fees are less than others. Exams are internal and semesters. Sports students can apply because sports students have priority in this College....Read More
