Atreya ayurvedic medical college, review

After joining college there, we had curriculum of over a month where we were introduced to ayurveda. There are term exams and class tests with pretty good format and corrections. Practicles are not frequent but good.

There is no stipend for internship and it is provided for one year in own hospital owned by college . There are many outpostings in PHCs andd other renowned hospitals. There is no leave during internship which makes it bit tough.

If you are not son or daughter of government employee and your income is less than 1 lakh rupees. You can get state ssp scholarship which covers minimum expenses but only if you are minority, you'll get reasonable scholarship otherwise amount will be negligible

Bigger festivals like ganesh chaturthi are celebrated very well but rest festivals are not celebrated in college. Sports events are held often. There is audio and video room for ppt presentations. No clubs are there as of now. There is a library with good reference books.

Relatively this college is better in academics than all other colleges and I hot government seat here. You can get admission through government portal i.e counseling or through private seat. Other state student can get seat via AIQ quota as cut off is relatively low.

Faculties are pretty approachable and have pretty good relationships with students. Students from other states are equally welcomed and don't have any language barriers. There are awesome faculties like Dr.Aditya.
