MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

I'll rate it 7/10. My course has 7 subjects in total among those 3 are my course related 2 are language and 2 are totally irrelevant. I don't know why i am studying computer science as a commerce student. Why i chose this is because i wanted to a degree is commerce. Well my relevant subjects teach me business. I want to start a business of my own so they are gonna help a lot. By subjects like accounting i can maintain record very well. Management subject teaches how to manage things efficiently. Well to improve the course remove irrelevant subjects. This will make course easier and willing to opt. Teaching can be improved if teachers focus on like making students learn about the things well that will impact there practical life rather than just teaching to complete syllabus. Teachers should focus on development of student not "is our syllabus complete??" Well each year has two semesters and one semester is 6 months at the end of which they have to take exams.

Our college has a yearly fee of 7200 for my course b.com hons, additionally i have to pay 2175 each semester as examination fee. This is a five year course, so i have to pay 36000 to complete the course (excluding examination fee) There are certain scholarship programs offered by college. And about the fee structure of other batchmates I don't know well but i have heard that for science programmes its around 6000-8000/year based on degree they are opting for.

Social life in college is good. Fellow classmates, seniors everyone there is friendly and nice. They help you with everything. There ain't clubs run by students, but its like we are all good there can go and talk to one we like. The sports activities offered are good. We have wide range of sports options we can choose from. As i said the infrastructure ain't that good and classroom are dusty. There ain't well tech supported classroom. Its still like white board and marker. Wooden benches. Even there's an almost dead fan that doesn't even give cold air. In summer we sweat a lot.

I didn't applied in this college. So after 12th i had to appear in CUET examination and after that i was given this college and no other choice. So to save my year from getting wasted i had to accept it. I don't know about other colleges but I'll rate my college 4/10 overall. And about admission process it was hell. After i was given this college, i went there and it was mess. As i already said there lack of administration. So i had roam here and there between different departments of college for getting admission.

The faculty as i said very few are good. Some teachers are so good u can go and talk to them anytime in college and they'll help. While some are like even they'll be free but will tell you to come some other time and won't ever help. Some don't even consider listening to us. Overall the faculty is 3/10 (i want to 0 but 3 for the teacher that help). As i said there's lack of good administration thats the main reason why teaching faculty is also bad. Our business management teacher is best among all, she helps a lot, really a lot. The one i didn't like much is accounting teacher, he's so harsh, he doesn't listen to you and wastes time in class telling us stories. His syllabus is always incomplete. Course structure is somewhat good. As i have B.com hons, i should be taught subject around it. but u also have to study irrelevant subject such as computer science. Yeah i ain't lying. Exam structure is good. Its written and oral sometimes. Mostly writter. And marking system is decent.
