Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course provides a wide scope for the chemistry loving students. The course enables the students to research and develop many kinds of medicines. The teaching staff are qualified enough to produce next generation pharmacists. Some teachers do need more experience in my opinion. The exams are conducted 2 times in a semester before main exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college provides internships in many different companies. The students can select whichever company they want to intern. The internship is a must for pharmacy courses during the 7th semester. There is a semester that is dedicated to projects completely.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 80000 per year. I paid 3000 as caution fees. Lab fees only includes penalties if we break anything. I pay more than 3000 during exam registration. My batchmates pay upto 93000 as tution fees. There are some scholarship for SC, ST and OBC but not for any student belonging to general category.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a couple of events that gets held every year like sports festival, cultural festival for students and anyone can participate in those events. The college promotes the participation for every student. There are many varieties of books in the library for every semester and there are different libraries for each course. Some areas need improvement in book section like including a wide range of books by different authors. The classroom is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Infact the whole college is under CCTV supervision to monitor any misbehaviour of students as well as staffs. The classroom has enough space to contain 60 students. There are many varieties of sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket, and badminton along with indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges because I already found the best one in the range. This college also enables the students to pursue their master's courses from foreign countries. The teaching methods are also commendable in this college. I didn't apply to any other colleges because they were quite lacking in terms of teaching, some colleges also turn a blind eye to ragging but this college takes this very seriously. The admission process is simple, the students can get admission directly by contacting the college or by counseling. The eligibility to enter this college is passing of 12th standard.

Faculty

4

There are enough faculty members to shoulder their responsibilities. There are many facilities tha I like such as the pharmacological department, pharmaceutics department. I don't like the administrative department because of their harsh behaviour. There are minimum 2 sessional exams each semester and they're quite moderate for all the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are excellent for tech and other domains, however, in terms of my own degree, ie B.Pharmacy, significant direct placement opportunities in core pharmacy are not available. The college is lacking in this respect, even in terms of summer training and opportunities, Pharmacy students do not get much opportunity. This is prevelant even for pharm tech or other related fields. They have to look for other domains for placements (finance, data science, consulting etc). Students can also get a ppo from ps2 opportunities. Approx 70-80% people are placed, in terms of pharma, only 30-40% people are placed.
