In this college they did not give equal importance to sports activities.
I feel like this college as school. Treated as school kid

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very much influenced to choose this course. The curriculum preparrs myself more acamefuc abd real time applications and involving in different aspects of learning. More and more pratical section will have to conduct .

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This college offers a four years B. E. in comouter science and engineering at UG level . The total tution fees for this course is Rs. 200000 for the entire duration of the course. This includes lab fees and other fees. This college provides first graduation scheme by government of tamilnadu and central sector scholarship.

Campus Life

Techno festivals are conducted every year before the last semester exams. Very good class rooms. There are lot of journals available in the library. About sports , they are not giving much importance to sports activities.

Admission

I applied j j college of engineering also but i am interested to join in saranathan college. Because teaching is very good. The campus placement is also available every year. Through counseling and management quota is also available.

Faculty

There are more faculties available there. The relationship between the students and the staffs are very kind. They cleared our doubts all the time. More care will be taken by the teachers. I like my c++ mam very much because she is very smart and intelligent.

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

EDUCATION WITH SATHYABAMA

Placement Experience:

There is many opportunities given by the collage placement they give training. For placenta and they have some fees structure for placement and that I have paid 2 times 12500 for placement training there are no of opportunities and many companies give good offers for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good...but it is better to have present skills to be learnt ...it is all university fixed curriculum that cannot be changed otherwise all were good to know about basics and good sib knowledge

Aspects Of College

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good. The studentrs are given oppertuties and are given chances for comapnies such as amazon, Wipro, JP morgan and such that have a great CTC and a large number of other companies including startups are also available. If the student is interested in entrepernership then the startup cell funds for the ideas of students. There is a seperate higher studies cell for students who want to pursue their higher studies and are given guidance to what steps are to be taken by educational fairs and such

Average College Experience at Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements in our college usually start from 6th semester. Students are regulary trained for placements from the 1st year both in aptitude and coding skills. Certain branch students receive training specifiically in their own field Most of the students get placed in IT-service based companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and Accenture. In recent years students have got placed for Marquee offers in big prodcut based comapnies like Autodesk, Amazon, MIcrosoft and Goldman Sachs.

Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

i've applied to Ramakrishna,SRM trichy,CARE,kings and stjoseph engineering colleges along with saranathan college of engineering. comparing with other colleges, SCE has an outstanding teaching and it holds the rank of top 10 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.so i choose this college. everything is based on your cut-off ((physics,chemistry and maths) marks/2) in the 12th grade and JEE marks. based on these marks, you can choose the departments. if you have cut off mark above 185 you can get into CSE above 170 for ECE and etc...Read More
