The college follows the Anna University course structure closely, with generally well-trained faculty who are attentive and supportive towards students. Although some faculty may fall short of expectations, most are kind and readily available to help students. Placements are strong, with companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture recruiting over 100 students annually. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 10,00,000, with average packages ranging from Rs. 4,00,000 to Rs.
7,50,000. Around 90% of students secure placements, aided by the Training and Placement department from the 5th semester. The college encourages internships and provides reference support. Various scholarships are offered: FG assistance for first-generation graduates, stateboard and central board scholarships for GQ students, and book assistance for students below the poverty line from the Saranathan Charitable Trust. Merit scholarships are available for students scoring above 90% in the 12th board exams.
Fees differ between management and counseling admissions; counseling admission fees total Rs. 43,950, while management admission costs Rs. 150,000. SC/ST students are supported by the PMSS scheme covering all tuition costs. The B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering program costs Rs. 200,000, inclusive of all fees, and is a four-year course. Additional scholarships include the first graduation scheme by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Central Sector Scholarship.
