Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

According to ratings and words of mouth, i had chose this college. My course was pretty good and informative and it was worth the money i paid for. I would like to say that any course you take up, you need to gain more insights and not just bookish knowledge. I think the areas where the education needs to improve is in industrial expertise and field work and make students gain more pratcical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

2

Basically internships are unpaid. WE have to pay to get an internship from MENTORMIND. I had to pay 4000 to get a three month access. Some financial companies do offer internships with a stipend of 15 k but hardly selects any students, thats the hypocrisy of it. The projects are just reserach based that one can do easily.

Placement Experience

2

Campus placements are usually in the third year. It starts from the 5th semester, where you get internship oppurtunities, and then in the 6th sem, compaines like Deloite, Amazon, Wipro, etc.. come for offering letters to students. Basically there are more finance and analtyics role these compaines have to offer. Also the package is just between 2-3 Lakhs for most of the students. Highest is around 5 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees paid was around 1 Lakh Tuition and registeration fees should be paid at once. It combines in the per sem fee. Mine was a specialization degree. For B. Com general its just 5000-6000 they have to pay pr semester. Various Scholarships are available for students below the poverty line or students facing financial issues.

Campus Life

3.5

There are clubs you can join by paying around 150-200. It revolves around commerce clubs realtng to finance or stats. And also various fun activity related clubs. There are more than 1 lakh books in library you can acess to, from your study related textbooks to journals, magazines, and motivational books. Also you can have access to newspapers on a everyday basis. For sports there are competitons held with other colleges, and there also sports mentors to guide you to win in the games or national level competitions.

Admission

First of all, i didn't apply to other colleges, as i heard there was nothing better than this one in Hyderabad for girls taking commerce as a stream. The admission process is very simple - You just need to get 60-80% in your inter boards and tada submit and application form in the month of June i believe. One should search about the college and only join if they like it.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student relationship is good. The lectureres do clear doubts and explain only what is needed for a student to understand. This is a con i believe. Bookish knowledge and completing the syllabus is their main motive. The best faculties are usually the Foreign trade lecturer and the ones who teach International Business and relationships. The accounts and staistics department are just so cruel and what they teach is half left undone and ununderstood. Exams are particularly easy if you study and work hard. Per sem there are 7-8 subs including languages. It all depends on how much you work hard. Lecturers also provide you with important questions depending on their mood.
