What Students Say

Likes

Location and environment surrounded with nature.
Friendly atmosphere which allows new students to be comfortable.
Weather is pleasant. Raining most of the times

Dislikes

Too expensive. A child from lower middle class cannot afford
Faculty is not so good. Lesser experienced and more egoistic.
No uniform. Doesn't look like students are coming to study

Course Curriculum Overview

For second and third year students. The number of classes are acting as a burden on the students. No reasons are taken by the teachers for less attendance even if it is for medical reasons which is not fair.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for Btech CSE course is 15akh+ In my case i have been given domicile scholarship which is i belong to the same state as the college moreover a girl child scholarship is also alotted to all the girls taking admission My fee for the 4 year course has is approximately 2-3 lakh lesser than the regular students.

Campus Life

Student clubs and chapters are highly recommendable. Various events are organised every year which brings fun to the students college life and makes it memorable And acts as a distraction from same boring life

Admission

I chose this college because of old name of dehradun being called as a hub of colleges My father was impressed by the college's reputation and 100% placement policy. And it was in my state which brought its own pros

Faculty

2.5

Faculty doesnt seem much experienced. Lesser no. Of teacher's than required There are two exams for the whole year mid sems and end sems. Attendance should be above 75% else students are not allowed to sit in the exams.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

UIT college dehradun - BTECH course

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.
