Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in business management before taking admission to Garware. As soon as I got admitted to Garware, I developed an interest in Human Resource Management which later on became my profession. The curriculum is great according to the course. Every subject is as important as any other in BBA. We didn't have many Group Discussions, maybe having group discussions would've helped us clear interviews with a few companies. The exam level was medium to hard.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I was in open category hence my fees structure was as follows: Tuition Fees: 36800 Development Fees: 14560 Eligibility Fees: 600 Library: 3000 Exam Fees: 2300 Miscellaneous College Fees: 6602 Total Fees: 63862 One of my freinds was from EBC category, his fees structure was as follows: Tuition Fees: 18400 Rest of the fees was same. Total Fees: 45462
Campus Life
Youthizon is a fest that happens every year for the students of BBA and BCom. It is a 3 day event. The first day had tug of war, business quiz and inauguration ceremony. The second day had cricket tournament and a technical event. On the last day, there was detective mystery, assasino e-sports and music show. Every classroom has a projector. Students didn't actually use the library to access books but to study because it was a quite place. Football, volleyball, theatre were the main focus of the college.
Admission
I had applied at BMCC and Symbiosis for BBA other than Garware. That is because those colleges are well reputed and near my house as well. I was rejected from BMCC as they had an aptitude test for admission and I couldn't clear that. The admission process for Garware is that they check your 12th marks. While I was taking admission the cutoff was 78% and I had to give an aptitude test. Once you pass the aptitude test, the candidate is eligible for taking admission in Garware. The whole process takes less than half a day.
Faculty
The faculty at Garware is good and experienced. Our class had a sitting strength of 40-45 students, hence the faculty could interact with each student. The professors were approachable, they would even insist us to ask any questions after the class. I liked the professors of Human Resource because I enjoyed learning that subject and Business Communication skills becaus eit developed my communication skills a lot. Accounts and Mathematics were the subjects I disliked due to the faculty as they'd make us solve 1-2 sums in the class and then give 10-15 sums for homework. We had 3 examinations in one semester. A lot of students failed to clear the exam as most of them don't attend lectures on a daily basis.
