Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The decision to choose B.com is that I'm from commerce background so that i chooses this course also the course fee of BBA is so much and this course is pocket friendly that's why i chooses this course. Also this gives me a detailed knowledge about accounting, taxes and finance. The teaching method is almost same for all courses teachers read PDFs and gives notes in the end. There is also 3 Internal exams of 30 marks and in the last there is semester exam of 60 marks and the level of that is moderate

Internships Opportunities

1.5

They provide intership offortunties but all of them ask for money from you to give you courses and intership there is not any serious intership opportunity students apply from outside sources for internships

Placement Experience

3

They gives placement offortunties from 7th to 8th semester and make you ready for all exams and interviews. There are many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Paytm etc. But there is much placement offers for Btech and Bca students. Average package is 4 lpa and highest package is 24 lpa as they mentioned on there billboards. Just 50% to 60% student gets placed every year. My plan after graduation is to prepare for CAT exam and took admission in best B school.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of addmission you have to pay 30% course fee, 5000 caution amount which is refundable and 1000 registration fees and the rest 70 have to be paid in 2 installments of 20% and 50% in the gap of 1 month. And in 2nd year you have to pay 50 in 3rd semester and 50% in 4th semester best thing is that there is no hidden charges this is one time fees but there is also late fees which is much higher. The fees for B.com (NEP) is 30000 per year and for B.com (Honours) it is 88000 per year. There is UP Govt. Scholarship program which a student can register and avail the benefit.

Campus Life

4

There are many fests and events at department level but they had an annual fest called Anubhuti which is celebrated every year in month of February or March and there is also freshers party for new batches. Libraries are present in every department buliding but there is also central library where every department books, journals, novels, newspaper is provided. There is no technological facilities in the classrooms they don't have white boards or smart boards teacher write everything on green board and the classrooms are not ventilated properly. There is cricket ground, football ground and there is also matches at department level and college levels held every year. They have clubs in almost every interest of students like snapshot club, Golden pen club. The overall campus life is good.

Admission

I had given CUET exam but the results are not in my favour and I also don't want to go from Lucknow. I had also given Lucknow University exam but there is also I got rejection so at the end I took this college. The addmission is simple just you have to go with all the documents and submit all the fees and necessary documents and that's all. There is no entrance exam but they also took admission by CUET but I don't think it is beneficial for student who took from registration process just go and take directly.

Faculty

3.5

There is 20 is 30 faculties in one department and some of them are good towards students and some are very rude like any support. Faculties read PDFs and students have to write it in there notebooks and some of them give much burden to students like assignments, notes. There is 3 Internal exams in 1 semester of 30 marks each and best 2 are taken for them you have to maintain 75% attendance it is taken very frequently which makes problem in maintaining attendance. There is semester of 60 marks which is moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
