B. Pharmacy is an essential para medical course, for those who likes to be in the service sector in the field of medicine. It follows syllabus which holds key concepts to develop the skills and knowledge of a student regarding the same. The syllabus is periodically revised.

College mainly has links with nearby private hospitals, namely Appolo Adlux, near Angamaly. It also has various other internship placements as well, to industries if required. A student had went to Thrissur Medical College for his 7th semester internship.

The college holds placement into various sectors like, hospitals mainly, as well as to industries and international employers. Newer posts like scribing has found its way to the college placements in Nirmala, which holds a package of 4.8 LPA.

The college holds 4 major events and 4 minor events in the form of festivals. MAJOR EVENTS : College Day, Onam Fest, Christmas Fest, Hola Nirmalites. MINOR EVENTS: Tech Fest, Pharmacy Day, Freshers Day, Nirmala Conversation (a one week event in the evening held in the college canteen)

The college doesnt provide direct hostel facilities. Though it links us with a couple of hostels in the city of chalakudy, especially for girls. But the service provided there is below standards. For boys, no specific hostels. Students resort to staying as Paying Guests or private Residences.

Nirmala college of health sciences is situated in chalakudy which held a great spot in the map, linking thrissur and kochi at almost equal distance at two ends. The college attracted the students with many areas of activities other than those related with studies alone

The faculty student ratio comes around 1:10 The teachers are somewhat friendlier in case of your needs, and adher to strict standards when it comes to studies. The college conducts weekly exams depending on the faculty and two periodic tests for each semester grooming the students for the university exams.
