- Staffs shortage occurs at times. Which leads to poor time management.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this because it was related to latest technology. It wasnt very relavent to prepare to the real world scenarios as the course languages were outdated. I think they could have improved the subjects as it was not very relavent. Exams are at beginner's level most it never used to be difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There arent any internship opourtunites offered but they do offer campus placements which comes with a internship period of 3 months to 1 year. Other projects that goes to national levels also takes place, but only a few ends up participating in those.
Placement Experience
Campus placements begins from 3rd year beginning for ug students and final year beginning for pg students. Many huge companies like deloitte,Accenture, hcl, titan, bny mellon federal bank etc over 100+ companies comes as a part of campus placement. 70% students get placed in various companies. I got placed at accenture and Titan and I chose the latter. Highest package offered was 7.2 lpa where as the average packages would be around 4 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
For my particular course bcom ecom there was no caste system allocation during admission. Year wise fees was as follows: 1st year-96000, 2nd year-94000 and 3rd year 87000 rs + additional exam fees. The fees for other bcom classifications varies. There is no merit seat in bcom ecommerce in this college.
Campus Life
There are many functions that keep taking place now and then. It varies from department to department. We have a huge library with acess to plenty of books. We have smartboards in every class room and basis requirements are met. There isnt much importance for sports but extracurriculars keeps happening every now and then. Many clubs like ncc, nss, rotary club etc exist and functions well.
Admission
I applied to grd college and also psg cas, but psg cas provided me admission in management quota with donation, grd offered me admission in normal quota. As Skasc was a bigger organisation, i chose skasc. As per Psg cas admission criteria, the offers were based on the caste system where as I belong to general, hence it was difficult for me to get in there. I applied online for my admission process as it was corona time. Overall admission process wasnt complicated.
Faculty
Faculties are good and friendly. They provide us with their full support. My favorite faculty is mrs. Kavipriya. She is very friendly and gives everyone equal opourtunity. I didnt like srinidhi mam as she use to be very dominant in class. We have 2 internal exams and a sem exam every semester. Total 6 exams every year. Exams are east and it is relavent to our subject.
