Likes

I lik the teaching faculty in our college they teach us in good way and the notes for every subject we get in svit is good
I like the fest week along with sports . I like sports very much its their in svit
Class rooms labs projector screens for class presentations and ppt that they make to teach us is good

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much huge it is small compare to other colleges
Uniform they gave for our batch is not good i don't like that
I dont like these things . Remaining part is good in svit

Course Curriculum Overview

AI is everywhere now so choose thia course AI will be leading tech in few years it will help us in future Improvement should be done in computer technology because still the computers thar are present now are not enough to it is not supporting upto the mark for ai aspects Timings and all is good for exams

Qspiders and adobe Stipend 10k I didnt done any projects till now But seniors done on hackathon like gdp, security management, data structures , face recognition etc i attendended the workshops seminars done by seniors

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students are eligible for placements Mahindra, TCS, wipro, infosys, bell Highest package is 1200000 Avg package is 300000 70 percent To get the gob in good company that provide me job security and 70k+ salary monthly

Fees and Financial Aid

I will 40000 because i got seat through snq quota Total fees for the course is 300000 Management students will pay the full amount Cet students will pay 120000 Comedk students will pay 200000 Ssp scholarship is available for students irrespective of the caste Parents who works in govt job their students will not get this scholarship

Campus Life

Tech vidya and sanchala for 2-2 weeks Library is quite nice in svit we get the specified books Classrooms are very good in infrastructure Projectors are in very good conditions Sports and extra activities are conducted in very good manner Yes ncc and rotract club

Admission

I applied many other colleges that are near to me like sjcit bmsit etc but i got admission in svit. I didnt choose, through cet counselling i got the seat in this college Rejection means i didnt got seat in that colleges . It depends on the ranks that wr get in cet Admission processes are from 3 sources 1 cet 2 comedk 3 management These exams are accepted for addmissions The more preference is given to cet exam Cuttoff for our college is 60000

Faculty

Faculty and students relationship is very good they are very approachable to students Naveen sir anil sir beacause they are very friendly No faculties that i dont like There are 8 sem exams for every engineering students It will be average and not so easy They make one or two papers to feel tough in every sem

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .
