A journey worth sharing

Our office staff and management are very cooperative and have always incorporated our suggested changes in college-related activities.

Course Curriculum followed by VES is designed by Mumbai University. With additional course related subjects to choose from, the curriculum has research driven aspects. Mumbai University provides a list of 7-8 additional subjects termed as choice based subjects which are like add-on subjects and help majorly in improving research related abilities of the student.

We have students placed at established companies such as Nestle, TCS, Sanofi, and Cipla. These companies carry out their placement interviews in our college premises.

We celebrate unique events like Chemtastic- a chemistry-based event wherein students from all over Mumbai Pharmacy colleges and Maharashtra colleges participate. Ignition is another widely appreciated event encouraging students to put forth their ideas which can be converted to Business Projects.

Fees ranges between Rs.1,25,000 to 1,35,000. There are also scholarships provided to economically backward students which can be availed at this college. Other expenses commonly include travel, food, and academic related expenses like photocopies of notes, or purchasing of commonly required lab apparatus.

I haven't applied for any scholarship. Students from Economically Backward Classes or Low-income groups can apply to scholarships exclusively offered to them by the college management.

Our campus is spacious, with good ventilation, and light. We have 3 canteens on campus, and also a coffee shop. Our annual college fest- SPECTRUM, has an array of activities ranging from Art activities to Dance, Music, and Sports such as Badminton, Throwball, etc. We also have literary activities like Debate, Poetry Writing held during Spectrum.

Our seniors are placed at reputed companies like Cipla, and many are pursuing MS in the US, and also help us juniors with any queries about US applications and even about job prospects in India.

I got into VES, with my MHT CET score. I applied through the DTE website and through the CAP round process. I secured my seat in the first round of the CAP process itself. I had visited the college before applying to it, right after my CET results were declared. Office staff were extremely cooperative and clarified all my queries patiently.

Our faculty are highly experienced and have been in VES since its inception. They have a distinct research mind and facilitate students also to participate in the same. We are encouraged to participate in Scientific Poster Presentation Competitions, Oral Paper Presentations too.
