Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as per the standards set by Anna University. They mostly cover all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. Tests are conducted every alternative week and there's a model exam too which helps the students to prepare better.
Placement Experience
Placement classes are conducted in final year and its conpulsory for everyone to attend, although extra fees needs to be paid for it. Overall, placement is good and most of the students gets placed in decent companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly gees depends on the category with whichbwe got admission. Eg: through counselling, its 50k per year, if the stydent is 1st graduate, then its 25k per year and if the student belongs to sc/st, then its 10k per year. Also, there's a scholarship scheme for students whose parents' annual income is less than 2lakhs. Anyway, all the fees mentioned here only covers tuituon fees. The student needs to buy books and notebooks on their own (books are available in library as well). Need to pay separately for record notebooks.
Campus Life
Symposium is the only notable event. Although there's a week dedicated entirely to presentations and project demonstrations. Sports day will be conducted but there's no cultural events whatsoever, so thats a bit disappointing.
Admission
Eligibility is 12th-grade pass-out. Mostly based on the Engineering counseling process set by tnea but now I guess it's been made autonomous. Application for the counseling process and details will be on tnea website. Also, there'll be an application fee while registering for counseling.
Faculty
Qualifications of teachers is mostly ME or PHD. Different teachers have different teaching methods. Some teachers use books directly, some use ppts, some just use he blackboard and explain the concepts.
