Remarks

College is very ordinarily rated from my side. It is loosing its charm even being the oldest among in western India eat. 1978. Management really need to look through to sustain in the competitions of other good colleges in pune. Also management is corrupt and at least 50 percent of entry is back door and hence, the quality of education is deteriorated and affected

Entrance Preview

BMAT Score: 148/200, AIR Rank: 97 It was offering me all branches in MBA to seek admission of my choice and giving me scholarship on my merits. So opted for this college and course of Dual MBA with best trades( Finance & Markering ) to maximize my placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I compared the syllabus with top universities and colleges and reached out to seniors and facility to know about the campus placements and structure. My electives are marketing & finance. Both of these have good placements records and descent work profile offered by good firms. Also, my interest was towards finance being good at quantitative and research side.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I got tobwork with Aviva, Tata communications as winter internship from college and then worked with axience which turned in my final placement. With axience stipend was 16 k and with others there was no stipend.

Placement Experience

1.5

It is average and very much driven by students in the placement cell. Overall I would rate 2.5 out of 5. Most of efforts are taken by students rather college to attract companies to visit campus. At my time the average package offered not more than 2.5 Lkh which is much below average.

College Events

2

Annual functions, Annual sports week, Quiz competitions, Expenpores, Worldwide technical competitions, Tech fares, Business plan presentations, Research paper and white paper presentations, Book fares, Cultural competitions such as fashion shows, singing, dancing, drama etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think from MBA point of view feasible. 1 Lacs for each year. 1 lacs divided in each semmester for 1st year followed by same in second year. Overall it is average as it is a university MBA and hence, the cost isvrelarively lower than PGDBM kind of MBAs. That Time most of the colleges in pune was offering MBA courses at 4 Lacs on average. Though Bharti vidyapeeth was not the best and simbiosis, balagi institute were better but expensive too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they have loan facility with HDFC and other banks which a student can avail on optimum interest rates and the scholarships for scholar students.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life was good and enjoyable as we have sports facility, library and good canteen gender ratio: M:F :: 60:40, Extracurricular : 3:5, Labs: 3:5 Sports: 3:5, Competitions: 3:5 (robotics, debates, business presentations) Overall the sore card for college is 2.9/5.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities was not too great 3 to 4 people sharing is not the best way to keep your students though the rooms are big. Food was okay but it takes long to act on negative feedback of the food and stuffs. Overall it can be rated as 3 out of 5. Though I have opted for PG out side college which was at walking distance of approx 0.5 kms. Normally you will find a deaent PG at 2.5 k/ month with 5 k as deposit.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumuni networking was not too great in my college and hence definitively affects to place your students better Rating: 2/5.

Exam Structure

It is a trimester pattern. 3 semesters in one year and a 2 year full time MBA programme. Each semester has 6 subjects. 70+ is distinction. 75 marks for theory and 25 marks for practical and industrial training and research. Labs and library facilities are average and attendance is not mandatory to come to practicals. Overall attendance have to be maintained above 75 % to avoid any fines and problems in issue of admit cards.

Faculty

1.5

I would rate some core subjects faculties as very good and intelligent but some by subjects faculties are not so knowledge and do not have good industrial experience so could not act that well on real time case studies to resolve. So overall rating for faculties would 7 out of 10.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
