Likes

Sports facility is very good. I Love that here almost every sport is played
Hostels and mess food. Mess food better than I expected
Teachers here are very friendly and are very higly qualified and knowledgeable

Dislikes

In every sport we have to bring our own equipment like in table tennis we have to bring our own racquets college won't provide you anything except the space to play
Lecture halls still doesn't have ac's in them so it's pretty hot while attending lectures
Campus is open and not closed like other IITs so anyone can come in and go out and college is not in isolated place place away from varanasi it's like in the centre of varanasi so pretty crowded place

Course Curriculum Overview

In IITs generally branch doesn't matter a lot as companies are open to all branches so for me was to just get into IIT was the only aim. In each year we have 2 semester and in each semester we have midsem and endsem and they are quite difficult

Internships Opportunities

From second year onwards you can do internships with stipend and many big companies come here like Microsoft google adobe Nvidia They give stipend of about 1 to 1.25 lakh per month If your cgpa if good you can get more stipend also

Placement Experience

I think from 3rd semester onwards internships starts and according to your cgpa company hires you. Highest package from our branch is 51 LPA . Percentage of students placed in our branch is about 60 percentage and others do research or start ups so noone goes unemployed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for one semester is 1,21,000 for general category and for the people whose annual income is less than 5 lakh then have to pay about 39000 per semester and people whose annual income is less than 1 lakh for them tution fees is free and sc and st category people also have no tuition fees Hostel and mess fees is 15000 per semester amd I guess its compulsory for all category

Campus Life

Main fest is technex and other big sport event is SPARDHA where in other colleges also come and participate. We also have GC like in Chichchore. There are many libraries and every hostel has its own readiing room which is open 24×7. There are also more than 20 clubs in college

Hostel Facilities

Here we have 3 people in one room and we get 3 beds and 3 study tables and just 2 cupboards. In mess we get breakfast lunch and dinner and for evening snacks we have canteens and cafeteria outside hostels

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

To get into IIT you have to crack JEE ADV examination and then JoSAA starts allocating seats according to your rank. Once you get a seat you have to pay 35000 to accept your seat. I was of general category

Faculty

4.5

Faculty here are highly qualified and skilled. They have very high contacts with others professors who teach in like stanford, oxford universities. Teachers are passionate about their subject and that's the reason it feels enjoyable when you are learning from them

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Life at BU

Placement Experience:

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
