A good learning experience!

The clinical practice this course allows us to do made me choose this. Even only after doing UG degree you're allowed to do surgeries and this is the only course that provides this. As the patient inflow is really good in the college it allows us to interact with them regularly that boosts up our confidence and helps to gain maximum knowledge. The are no such areas of improvement. The exams are held in every 3 months namely the internals and pre university exams before the proff exams. The difficulty level is high as it prepares us for proff exams.

The internship is provided by the college itself in the form of clinical postings in all the departments as a rotating posting for 1 month each for better learning and understanding. It helps to interact with the patients and we get to see newer cases everyday.

The yearly fees is 2 lakhs per annum excluding the internships period. Tution fees for the year is 2 lakhs per year, caution money taken in the starting of the session for all the four years was 10,000. Library fees was 29,000 for all the four years. The fees of my batchmates who got scholarship is 1 lakh per year.

There is an annual fest conducted in the college named as PERCUSSION that last for 15 days and is held in the month of march. The accessibility of the books is easy if the student has a library card and there are many varieties of books only thing is that there can be newer editions provided to us in the library. The facilities and technologies in the classroom are present in the form of smart boards and whote boards as well so as for better learning of the students in the form of presentations. There are various sports and extracurricular activities going on the college that includes both girls and boys to participate on university level as well.

The facilities provided in the rooms are that of electrical appliances such as bulbs, fans, tubelight and of gyser. The quality of the food is sometimes not good but hygiene is maintained by the workers. The registration is done while the addmission process in the college and the fees is 1 lakhs per year that includes the laundry service as well. If I rented a room it would be near the college itself.

The eligibility for the course is 12th standard pass with 60% and NEET quality with cut off marks. All the documents ais available on the website of the college including the admission forms and fees. If the student is from ST, SC or OBC category there is a scholarship system in which the fees is reduced to 1 lakhs per year. The faculties to student ratio is really appreciable as there are adequate number of faculties for each of the student. There is a special mentor mentee system started for the students that helps the students to interact with the faculties individually and help them grow personally and professionally. The faculties are qualified and there is approach to teaching is unique in its own way and focus mainly on clinical teaching. The interaction with the teachers are done on weekly basis as the students have to meet there mentors in one week itself.
